Feminists (who abort/abandon their children to pursue their careers) want the government they control to treat us all like children.
Nice.
Telling the truth is sexist? I thought it was racist.

What has Davis done to paint herself as a good mother?
GOOD mothers don’t give up their 2 kids, one of whom isn’t even that second husband’s for no good reason other than she had a New CAREER!!!! Yeah....good mommy./sarc
Folks......it is SO damn over when Black is White....Bad is Good......Good is EVIL....Up is Down.........God will NOT be mocked like this....buckle up, we are in for a VERY BAD TIME.
Funny how all these Rat femiNazis are rushing to Davis’ defense, but uttered nary a peep when Sarah Palin came under brutal attack by their friends and colleagues.
So let me get this straight - Wendy Davis tells multiple lies about her background in order to create a narrative that would generate voter sympathy, then when someone on the right reveals this, the response from her supporters is ... to lie about them in order to generate voter sympathy.
Well, if nothing else, I can say that Ms. Davis and her supporters are consistent!
While we will vote against her for sure, so many millions of socialist “Americans” cheer her.
You bet they are. They are mustering forces here in Texas to put this c*** in office. Unfortunately some Texans are very complacent and think her defeat is assured.

“I keep coming back to the fact that @WayneSlater’s expose on Davis was supposed to fill in her half-truths but was just his half-truths.”

@OliviaMesser it wasn’t my doing - it just got RTed by the right people. But it’s awesome how quickly you can spread a message.

The utility of Twitter: today I wrote a tweet about Louisiana’s abortion clinics closing and it’s been RTed nearly 400 times in 2 hours.

Today at the Guardian, I have a piece about why talking about Wendy Davis mothering or that her husband helped pay for her education is sexist and unnecessary to an actual political campaign:
As a woman, a mother, and a person whose partner has helped me financially to secure a good education, I am disappointed in seeing the first female democratic candidate for Texas governor in a long while a woman who came to international fame for fighting for access to full, comprehensive reproductive healthcare being painted as a poor mother or a money-grubbing schemer.
I hope someday that it will not be remarkable to have two women (Davis running mate is Leticia Van De Putte) at the top of the ticket. In order to make that happen, we have to keep holding the media accountable for how they talk about male and female candidates differently and we have to continue to advocate for gender-neutral reporting.
When I submitted my piece to my editor, it was about double in length. I commend my editor, who worked diligently with me to cut this down and tighten it.
Still, there are some things that were cut out that Id like to post here.
