This is What the GOP Establishment Thinks of You

It is very easy to avert our eyes from the painful reality that is confronting us within the Republican Party. We would all love to cheer on a GOP victory in the midterm elections, win back the Senate, and live happily ever after. But as Republicans gear up for the week of amnesty, they have made it clear that the entire purpose of a Republican majority is to push the most important priority of the Democrat Party.

This is why we need to change the party in the primaries.

GOP leadership is now fully aware of our growing effort to elect Republicans who believe in the party platform, and according to the Wall Street Journal, they will time their amnesty bills accordingly:

“House leaders hope to bring legislation to the floor as early as April, the people close to the process said, after the deadline has passed in many states for challengers to file paperwork needed to run for Congress. Republican leaders hope that would diminish chances that a lawmaker’s support for immigration bills winds up sparking a primary-election fight.”

So this is what the party leaders think of the people who rebuilt the party since 2010 after it was destroyed during the Bush years.

There is only one obvious response to this malevolent attitude on the part of party leadership. If they want to pass amnesty after the primaries under the pretense that we will already be on the plantation, we must commit to withholding support from any amnesty supporter even in a general election. .

They may try to do this after April, but we can take our fury out on McConnell in May and Graham and Cochran in June and Roberts and Alexander in August.

They want to change tactics and start Amnesty in the House, fine, let's see them try to pass it in a Senate with both republicans and democrats scared to death of approaching elections.

“Cronyn will be toast with amnesty”

Only if there’s a runoff. If Cornyn wins his primary, he’ll likely win in November. We need to force a runoff in Texas in March!

Please remember that they tried to push amnesty under George W. Bush, before Obama was in the limelight, before the tea parties. The public backlash was so vigorous that they could not pass it.

This is a high priority among the “establishment” of both parties. We must keep the heat up: phone calls, letters, faxes. We stopped it before we were a tea party. We can do it again.

And we must also fully support all of the citizen statesmen challenging establishment Republicans. It doesn’t even matter if they betray us, because as freshmen, they will not have much influence. As freshmen, rather than entrenched politicians, they will be easier to replace.

We must use an “all of the above” approach to reforming our government.

If everyone works vigorously in the areas, on the issues and candidates with whom they are most familiar, we will prevail.

Keep up the good work everyone!

The GOP wants our money and our votes, but not our principles.

We know who and what they are.

And yet, when it comes election time, it will mostly be “I’ll hold my nose and vote for ...” How do you think we got Romney?

Telling the truth about the RNC is what really got Dave Agema in trouble with them.

He came right out and told people that they wrote a party platform that they had no intention of following. It is nothing but show to attract conservative voters.

I agree, but he is already in trouble, IMHO. Constant commercials emphasizing how conservative he is, after joining Harry Reid in passing funding for Obamacare. As for as I’m concerned, he screwed the pooch.

Louie Gohmert supports Steve Stockman (a challenger of Cornyn’s), and that’s good enough for me.

The GOPe are going on the premise that if conservatives lose the primary, the conservative voters will hold their noses and vote for the Republican.

If they haven’t learned anything from 2008 and 2012, we get what we deserve.

We got romney because he cheated and lied and stole the primary, with the help of the gop-e. Ignorant people on the believed the lie that only romney can win, with a lot of help with Fox News. The person on the right that wins is the one who speaks the truth and tells everyone the evils of the left and how some on right want to join them in their surrender of principals. Someone must explain the principals of the right with examples of how the left is destroying our country and how people will suffer because of them. We need more than vague words like freedom, lower taxes, attack of religious freedoms....Who is that brave soul that will stand up to the politicians, media, and their minions?

The Establishment thought/hoped/and counted on the TP being gone by now, banished. The GOP wanted us to lose our heads and storm off into a Third Party dark hole from which we could never emerge with viability.

Seems to me the GOP is flaring its feathers against the TP, for more independent moderate votes. They want us gone, but we just won’t go.

Cool.

The tea party needs to reach out to people the RINOs will not. Blacks and young people are especially hard hit by competition from illegals. The young are hit by the deficit spending. The tea party is the young wing of the party.
