President Obama made a rather sweeping statement in his weekly address as his administration launches the White House Task Force on Protecting Students from Sexual Assault. In a show of support to victims of assault, the president said:
To anyone out there who has ever been assaulted: You are not alone. We have your back. I’ve got your back.

In his weekly address, President Obama said that the Administration has taken another important step to protect women at college by establishing the White House Task Force on Protecting Students from Sexual Assault. An estimated 1 in 5 women is sexually assaulted at college, and the President said that we will keep taking actions like strengthening the criminal justice system, reaching out to survivors, and changing social norms so that all Americans can feel safe and protected as they pursue their own piece of the American dream.

An estimated 20% of women in college are sexually assaulted? Is it the teachers? That’s a statistical lie if I ever saw one. Don’t send your daughters to college folks. It’s more dangerous than the south side of Chicago.
