Fugitive intelligence leaker Edward Snowden voiced fears that US “government officials want to kill me”, in a TV interview to be broadcast in Germany on Sunday night. […]

Snowden also told the German broadcaster: “These people, and they are government officials, have said they would love to put a bullet in my head or poison me when I come out of the supermarket, and then watch as I die in the shower.” […]

In some ways I think we’re being played, they’re trying to pull our strings so we force the change.

I sure as heck don’t like having so much data collected on me but I also don’t want to leave our country with chit ROE like our military must deal with.

Other countries do this, no doubt in my mind but if we’re made to stop and they still do—what have we gained?

One thing I’m absolutely certain about— we need to overhaul our how we hand out security clearance. I think we used to do a better job. And screw the PC stuff.

We’re getting it from all sides though. I think Glenn Beck got pulled into the mud—that big announcement that never happened—them. I think maybe Canada Free Press was pulled in—Doug Hagmann’s DHS Insider series.

Look at Russell Tice, he has almost the same stuff as Snowden but apparently didn’t take any files and didn’t do the big drama of leaving the country.

*Tice says the technology exists to track and sort through every domestic and international phone call as they are switched through centers, such as one in New York, and to search for key words or phrases that a terrorist might use.*

*Tice: Well, it goes very far. Because initially what I saw was they were targeting news organizations, they were targeting U.S. companies that did international business, they were looking at financial institutions. But they were also going after the State Department and Secretary of State Colin Powell at the time.*

I forget the kid (the homosexual Army guy who wants to be a girl) I think he was part of this group. There’s a whole big network of them. That’s what I’m starting to think, anyhow.

At some point he will want to return home. Who was that American singer that ‘defected’ to East Germany? Mysteriously died in a traffic accident after expressing a desire to come home. And the soldier who defected to North Korea? He’s back in the Carolinas somewhere. They do get homesick.

And the soldier who defected to North Korea?

The old fella? The one that defected way back when and has been living there since? He finally came home?! I watched a documentary on him.

“I don’t think there is anywhere on earth someone can hide, if the government wants to kill them. “

So if that’s true, why is Ayman Zawahiri still above room temperature? Or maybe it’s just because “they all look alike?”

“they all look alike?”

So why didn't we just use that profile after 9/11 and forget all this NSA mass intercept business?

What a price we've paid for PC.

Who are "they who all look alike?" I would never make that statement. It might bring Jesse Jackson, and we don't want his sorry a$$ around. BTW, I finally was able to get out of the people's republic. You can have moonbeam. I hope you have a water storage plan. I hear there is a small drought going on.

You’re not the only one, bubbs. If they could get away with it a lot of conservatives would disappear. Darn that second amendment.

If I were Snowden, I won’t worry about the government trying to kill him. They’ve fucked up every other assassin attempt since Castro.

I would worry about the 200,000,000 Americans who’d like to get their hands on his traitorous neck. I think he won’t be travelling outside of the Kremlin anytime in the near future (say, for the next 70 years).

It’s Borscht and bread for you comrade. Enjoy Siberia.

If it happened what country would take this country seriously when the government lectures other countries human rights records.

Actually, he’s in the outskirts of Moscow, I saw on TV. And he has a job and is learning Russian. I wonder if he is still able to hack into the CIA’s accounts. He knows an awful lot about the system there. Maybe that’s how he knows they are after him.

That an agency of the federal government is unlawfully engaging in surveillance of American citizens.

It doesn’t matter whether the outcome of an unconstitutional exercise of power is positive.

Obama secretly loves Snowden. The NSA losing their toys is Obama’s doing (hints: Ben gazi and the murder of border agents).

You’re making assumptions about my position; albeit, indirectly.

Do you know what my position is on this matter?

When Obama’s thugs are going after D’Sousa for a campaign contribution, something never done to Democrats, of course, the NSA wants to kill Snowden.
This is our world now. Better wake up.
