As President Obama goes to Capitol Hill for his State of the Union address he is telling the world he is fed up with Congress — the paralysis and the GOP obstruction — but his anger is secondary to signs that he is a demoralized lame duck.
In his recent, lengthy interview with the New Yorker magazine, the president comes across as passive in the face of his difficulties with the hyper-partisan Congress. He is portrayed as a politician who dislikes mixing with members of Congress, twisting arms, offering favors or pulling federal aid to move his congressional agenda. The president all but confirms this sad-eyed portrait when he is quoted as saying that after five years in the White House he feels as helpless as a “relay swimmer in a river full of rapids and that river is history.” Poor Barack.

Fox News really should have just let Juan scoot off into Oblivion when PBS/NPR gave him the boot. He really isn’t even a good foil for the Fox crowd any more.

Let's see, when his party controlled both houses and there was no paralysis and obstruction, he and his party passed the ACA. We all know how that turned out.
For all their faults and deficiencies, I'll take the paralysis and obstruction over unfettered Presidential power.

Juan Williams is like a Chihuahua. He runs off at the mouth because he’s intrigued by his own voice.
That's because Obama's policies have been a utter failure. These congresspersons have to run for election again and their constitutents don't want to hear a rehash of ideas which have only made the problems worse. When a horse loses every race pretty soon nobody bets on them anymore.
Honestly, I believe that Fox keeps Williams and his ilk around just to show the world what a bunch of Morons the Left is made up of.

I don’t listen to anything he has to say anymore. It’s too hard to give a fair hearing to someone who lies with such ease. Also very hard to pray for too, but God will help me with that.
