My guess is that they financed the trip through donations and sponsors.

And they are now financing the search for her in the same way -- contributions and sponsors.

The more things change ...

“He could have been in Texas, not CO. The convo they had doesn’t sound a like a phone call convo. Why would he ask how long she was going to be gone if he was several states away?”

I got the impression that he was not a suspect because he was not in the state when she disappeared.

We’ve been hearing about it for days on the news. They probably called off the search because there is nothing for them to go on.

My money is on 1) an illegal alien kidnapping her or killing her and dumping her body somewhere between there and Mexico or 2) she was running outside of town and fell somewhere out of sight where it may be years before they find her. I don’t think she ran away from the husband.

She was probably abducted. That is the best explanation.

On a map it looks like an outer rural ‘burb of San Antonio.
In today’s society, nothing surprises me.
She could definitely have been abducted.

Leanne said to Josh that she would only be gone for an hour, but she never returned.

She was visiting a relative's home and decides to go take an hour long walk?

I believe that was actually an hour head start.........

I also suspect that following the luxury of wandering care free around the world for two years, the reality of now having to settle down, buy a house, get a job and start acting mature, was just too damn much for her to deal with and so she split.........

And considering the fact that according to the article, her family was able to hire "helicopterS" to help in the search, it's apparent she came from an affluent family that was able to pay her way thru college, leaving HER debt free..........

Life is a bitch and it's apparent she was never properly prepared for it..........

I wonder what kind of place they have up there in Denver???

Who’s been paying the bills on the place for the last 2 years and taking care of it while they tool around the world???

They come home from a world tour and stop over in Texas instead of going directly HOME to Denver. Why???

Do they even have a home in Denver???

KEYE (it should be online later www.KEYETV.com) evening tv news just did a story on her. Husband thinks she may have slipped or fallen into a gully or something. From what I understand, there are still search crews and the family is hiring helicopters and dogs.

I can’t find them on the Denver property rolls. Maybe they don’t have a house there and maybe have some of their valuables at his parents’ explaining why they stopped there. Or he hadn’t seen his folks for 2 years and flew into San Antonio to visit.

So she slips into a gully and if she had a cellphone they would find her immediately.

But she leaves her cellphone at home to go on this little walk.

Go figure.

Any way if she was going to be gone for an hour then she can’t be in a gully more than 2 miles away.

That shouldn’t be too hard to find her then.

Some people can’t stand to be without their phones for 5 seconds. Others can’t be bothered with them.

I overlooked that he was in Garden Ridge, TX, too. Yeah, he could be responsible in that case.

Great stays great.

True. Go to any place that sells used CDs and albums. Groups and albums conspicuous through their absence tells you they're worth having.

I read that it is a 600 sq ft Highlands house being rented out by an agency until May.

Given what real estate has done the last two years and that the house is no bigger than a hut and they can’t get back into it until May, they might just want to walk away from it and probably did 2 years ago.

I don’t think that either of them wanted to return to Denver — what was there to return to — no job and no home.

Other things of interest:

He calls police after 4 hours — usually you have to wait 24 hours to report a missing person. At what point did he get in the car and go out to look for her — or did he???

Also she was only going at most a mile and a half away and yet they expand the search area to 23 miles. Why???

Police know something that they are not saying —
