this couple rented out their house in Denver. Could explain why they’re staying with his folks in TX.
And the house was rented until May but they were supposed to return to Denver on Monday -- to where in Denver???

Yes, walking. I know, that’s kinda slow, isn’t it? I used to be able to do it in 30. I walk really fast..no-talking-fast, LOUD classic rock on the iPod.
Dude, I walk in classic Adidas and jeans, carry an iPod and a gun, but no phone, and yes, I do walk 5 miles in 35 minutes. Why is that so hard to believe?
(Oh, and I would do it tomorrow just because I can and want to see if the cold affects my speed, but it’s -4 here and windy and snowy as hell..so the “proof” will have to wait till spring.)

The average walking speed of the average fit individual is about 3.4 miles in an hour — and you claim that in jeans with ipod and gun you can walk 8.6 miles in an hour.
And you don’t think that should be questioned???

loops...yes, I did not read the entire story. Why did he let her go on a around the world trek? Do I really need to read each story entirely to comment?
I read both articles and they were so poorly written I still overlooked the fact that the husband joined her in the visit to the Garden Ridge relatives.

The Facebook Page went up two days earlier than the website on January 19th — just 2 days after she “disappeared”.
Did the same person[s] who put it up also put up the website two days later — with fundraisers in Denver and Georgia already in the works where the events raised $22,000 with “even children emptying their piggy banks to help.”
It just makes you so proud, doesn’t it.
The couple shared one laptop computer, but police took possession of that. They shared a cell phone and they’re going through each number, talking to each person.
“There are 45 text message that we have to go through.”
And here’s the interesting point:
“She made calls the day she went missing. Thank God we caught that. We’re interviewing those people.”...
He says she left at 1:30 and had a job interview on the phone lined up at 2pm.

So the police confiscated the laptop but didn’t go through the calls and text messages on the cellphone???
And she leaves at 1:30 and is going to be gone for an hour but is expected back for a 2:00 interview.
