I am on FB to keep up with relatives and friends plus many conservative groups. Just saw a picture of a relative and daughter with one of The Duck Commander stars. I have probably been on the radar for years since I had a few pen pals in The USSR. They were fascinating. FB is what a person makes it. They are going to find any info they want to and I refuse to play fraidy cat. They probably find more info about me here.

Remote control only and they have no idea where they’re being used unless it has a camera.

Not long ago if you thought your toaster was spying on you you would have been put in a loony bin. I fear that under Obamacare pacemakers and insulin pumps will have an expiration date to turn off when you have used up all your allotted ration of care or if you are targeted by the IRS for “subversive” political activity.

Here is SC we are about to experience “climate change” It is sixty-eight sunny degrees here right now and snow forecast for tomorrow night through Wednesday afternoon. But we think of it as just weather and we love the warm, sunny breaks we get in between the damp, chilly days. Snow is rare here. We kind of like it.

They left off cars and “Dick Tracy” watches.

Cable TV has been watching us at least since the early 90s. Probably much earlier than that. People have called me paranoid for that long.

Back in the 80s at TSTI outside of Waco, a big airplane company came in and started operations of re-fitting airplanes. Big 747s would come in, stay a month or two, then fly out. One of the guys who worked there told me they installed mile long cables that would be rolled out from the tail of the plane in flight. It served as some kind of spying mechanism. He had no idea how it worked.

So, when Russia shot down a 747 I had a feeling I knew why. I’m sure they weren’t just spying on other countries with those things. And by the way, I’m not talking about contrails.

NSA-proof clothes dryer.

Does the Home Owners Association know you're using a thermonuclear cloths dryer?!

I know a left wing liberal who has diabetes and I simply detest him. He’s up to the age that he’s pretty well outlived his usefulness. The only thing I really would want happen if they turn off his insulin pump is that they tell him when it’s going to happen.

1. Your Television

Highly possible through my use of Netflix and Hulu.

2. Your Cable Box

Don’t have one.

3. Your Dishwasher, Clothes Dryer, Toaster, Clock Radio and Remote Control

Not sure what they could learn about my dishwashing habits, but my dishwasher isn’t internet capable. Everything else on that list I own is too old for any kind of spy gadget being embedded within.

4. Your Lights

No hi-tech lighting system or CFLs in my house. Incandescent all the way.

5. Your Heat and A/C

What ... they want to know what temperature I prefer? No Nest thermostat here. I’m too old fashioned for that.

6. Security Alarms

Got me on that one.

7. Insulin Pumps and Pacemakers

N/A

8. Smartphones

Yep.

9. Your Tablet and Computer

And yep.

My thermostat was installed in 1983 and I thought it needed to be replaced so an engineer friend looked at its insides and said there is nothing there to break but if you put in an electronic one, it will break. So, not getting a new one.

Appliances in my kitchen don't have electronic anything. Neither does my Maytag washer and dryer. Hope nothing fails so would have to get new ones.

If a new cable box comes out with a camera, when they install it, I'll put tape over it due to the numerous numbers of orgies I have in the living area.

I have tape over the camera in this computer. Don't want the feds seeing me without make-up.
