Video at link. 100% of the proceeds went to the Wounded Warriors project. I must be getting old. I remember when you could buy 100 brand new high performance Camaros for $700k.

The 2014 Ford Mustang (50th Anniversary) base model w/a 300hp V-6 will be specially priced at 10X the 1964 price or around $24,000.

I am glad to see Ford, Chevy and Chrysler giving the people what they want, but cannot understand these car compays to save mylife.
Chrysler has a success with the Challenger and the Charger, so WTF are they doing with the Dart?

Good cause. And at 700K, that car will never have to sleep out in the rain.

Yep, but I was referencing the base model. Still 100hp over my old 1986 GT with the 302/5.0 liter V-8. That was a good car...

That COPO is a pretty badass machine, but I remember several years ago when Ol’ Shel auctioned SuperSnake #2. As I recall it was $5.5M or thereabouts.

And a thousand times better looking than the crap they call a Camaro. There is a reason the Shelby is worth more.

WTF are they doing with the Dart? Caliph Baraq has mandated 54 mpg by 2024.
You've only seen the beginning.

so WTF are they doing with the Dart?
They needed SOMETHING to put the Fiat platform on, and the Colt name wouldn't do the trick.
Seriously, I have owned a half-dozen Dodge Darts. ('66x2,'71, '73,'74,'76) Darts always hit above their weight, roomy without being behemoths (though I like behemoths), and stressed reliability, simplicity and value above doodads.
Yes, you can make them go fast, but that aunt's pea soup green Dodge Dart with the vinyl roof was also many teen's first cars.
What other car is most famous for its entry level engine? (Slant-six (225), not counting the smaller 170 ci version)?
Someone should buy the Plymouth name and molds, make a Valiant, and do it right.

It is also the last Mustang that will be named a Shelby. I was fortunate to be able to procure one last year. It sure is fun to drive.

I wonder what 1 of the 2 original 1969 ZL1 Corvette’s would bring.
I believe James Garner owned one for a while.
