A judge made a host of mistakes in deciding to throw out the Pennsylvania’s requirement that voters display photo identification, lawyers for Gov. Tom Corbett argued in a court filing Monday.

The team of private lawyers and the attorney general’s office asked in 39 pages of post-trial arguments that the law be reinstated, the decision revised or a new trial ordered.

The filing says Commonwealth Court Judge Bernard McGinley wrongly decided the law was unconstitutional because of how it was implemented, and took issue with his rejection of a Department of State-created ID card. …

How many times is SCOTUS going to have to rule on this before the neo-progs accept that it is legal to ask for an ID.

Only Citizens can vote.

Since we now have so many who are not, it would seem that better verification is timely.

It should be one standard for exercising a US Constitutional right.

It should be the same for voting or buying a gun.

Liberal judges - apply one standard.

“...Corbett’s top lawyer said earlier Monday the administration, if it wins, plans to ask that the law not be in place for this year’s election, to avoid “even the chance” that voters may be confused....”

Well, hell yes...let’s have another round of massive voter fraud in the 2014 election! Gutless wonder!

I was wondering if anyone else saw that. Corbett is going to get defeated soundly and this is what he is going to do? Wow. Just wow.

The voter ID law was an attempt by the GOPe to fight the Democrat voter fraud.

I’m not worrying too much about this fight since Governor Corbett and the GOPe controlled legislature voted for a 28 cent a gallon gas tax increase at the end of last year.

The GOPe governor and legislature refuse to get rid of property taxes and control spending by the 500 plus local school boards that are little liberal tax and spend political machines in and of themselves.

Their alternative is fake reform that gives these local liberal boards the ability to tax people in new ways without taking away the property tax.

The GOPe controlled legislature and Governor Corbett also refuse to open up beer and liquor sales to grocery and convenience stores and private stores in general to protect the labor union employees of the state liquor stores.

I am not voting for RINO Governor Corbett this year.

He already has a primary challenger gearing up and I look forward to voting against him then.

The judge in this case is not guilty of making any “mistakes” or
committing procedural errors. The judge issued a ruling based
SOLELY on his personal political beliefs and agenda. Most rulings
from the bench are in gross error, unsupported by the Constitution
and almost invariably motivated by political bias. The American
Legal System is the LAST place one should look to find impartiality
and honesty.

The Democrats don’t want it. Why? Are they cheating?
The Republicans don’t mind. Why? Somebody has a reason not to want it.
