Its amazing how often Hogan is invited to dinner for drinks either in Kinks office or out in the local German town pub.

I often wonder how realistic that is. I'd gather the pub is probably not, but I wouldn't think it would be too far fetched for officers in the Luftwaffe to have somewhat cordial relations with POW officers, at least to a degree. Klink was supposedly from an old guard Prussian family.

I always thought it odd that Hogan was a Colonel. I don't imagine too many of that rank were flying bombing runs over Germany to get shot down. I'm not a expert in WWII history though.

They never showed how Hogan got there(that I recall), but its easy to imagine he was just another plant sent there to run things since he ran circles around all the German military and police branches.

They could break into the phone lines and imitate anyone.
