HOLLYWOOD For the second time in a little more than a year, South Florida's sizable snowbird community has been rocked by a violent homicide the bloodied corpse of a 58-year-old Montreal man found outside the condominium where he had been staying. Monday night, the man suspected in the killing surrendered.
We're all afraid, said Suzanne Breier, a snowbird from Milwaukee and resident of the five-story building at the corner of Jefferson Street and Federal Highway, where the body of Domenico Perruccio was discovered early Sunday.

We're all afraid. Domestic terrorism by democrats.

What’s to be afraid of? When seconds count, the police are only minutes away. /s

Usual suspect. I’m amazed he was identified.

I thought for a moment there that someone had violated the EPA mandate concerning snowbirds.

The only reason he was ID’d quickly is that this string of violence at the hands of the usual suspects is scaring away their winter residents and tourist trade. Taking the money out of the pockets of the influential locals. If they were killing each other there would be much less attention.

I am curious, how close is the corner of Jefferson Street and Federal Highway to Liberty City?

Not that you want to see anyone killed like this...particularly our guests from the Great White North...but maybe this will teach Canadians the wisdom of our Second Amendment.

Why would a snowbird choose Homestead?
To: Tupelo
Hollywood is in Broward County and between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Liberty City is in Dade County. I'd guess about 15-to-20 miles.

That was my other thought when I 1st read the title.

Is that from the article because I didn't see the reference? Hollywood and Hallandale area just south of Fort Lauderdale, north of Miami.
To: tgusa
I don’t know what they are afraid of this snow bird carry’s a Glock.
Something the Canadian birds mostly don’t do.
To: ConservativeStatement
I hear Eric Holder and the DOJ are looking into a possible hat....

This is what you sent earlier: Why would a snowbird choose Homestead? That is why I asked.
