Bennett: Jews in ‘Palestine’ would be killed

Palestinians would kill Jewish Israelis left under their rule, Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett said on Tuesday, continuing a campaign against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ostensible willingness to leave Israeli settlers under Palestinian rule under a future peace agreement. Bennett also outlined his own plan for the West Bank — which he has largely been mum about since joining Netanyahu’s government — under which Israel would annex most of the territories.

“Do you know why? Why Jews cannot live under Palestinian rule? Do you know why? Why Palestinians can’t rule over Jews?” Bennett said in an address at the Institute for National Security Studies Conference, reiterating a point he’d made on Facebook earlier in the day. “Because they will kill them. And do you know how I know this? Because it has already happened.”

Bennett went on to recount in gory detail some of the events of the 1929 massacre in Hebron, in which 67 Jews were killed during Arab riots, and of the year 2000 lynching in Ramallah of two off-duty IDF soldiers who had sought refuge in a Palestinian police station.

He also spoke out against giving up any of the settlements in a peace agreement before going on to present the central aspects of his own proposal, under which Israel would annex most of the West Bank.

Seems to me the Palestinians, read that the Arabs all have a number of places they can go. Not so for the Israelis. This is their homeland, has been for thousands of years.

Don't you mean "If Israel could be destroyed, it would be with missiles or biological warfare only". Don't forget that "He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep" (Ps 121:4).

I will have to admit to being somewhat curious though. For instance, weren’t there Jews living in Israel prior to 1948? I actually mean to address the 1800s to early 1900s.

Most folks think the Jews only returned post WWII, but it’s my take that was when Israel was finally re-instituted. I suspect there were plenty of Jews there prior to that.

Course I could be wrong, but this is what I have suspected.

Two third Arab....of whom 10-20% Christian

One third Jewish.....many of whom were relatively new

But there have pretty much always been some Jews in the area

I saw these and even more horrid photos of what the Arabs did to the Jews of Hebron when I visited the Hebron museum. Looking at photo after photo of people chopped into bits by axes, synagogues trashed, and the faces of the innocent victims, including many babies and small children, I had to lean against the wall of the museum as I wept.

Is there any doubt about what the filthy animal Arabs would do if they got their hands on a Jewish community again?

Perhaps they'd only be expelled. The genius of the Arab states, they ridded themselves of millennia of Jews and Jewish history, with nothing like the criticism of Hitler. Genocide is genocide, the Arabs got away with it.

Pretty much continuously since the Roman expulsion. The 1860 Turkish census showed Jews as the largest religious group in Jerusalem, 1840 closer, and no census before that. Of course in those days Jerusalem was a dump if Twain is to be believed. Immigration from Europe began in the late 19th century, as did Arab (mostly Egyptian and Syrian) immigration following the jobs.

Question for the Palestimians. When Iran launches its WMD at Israel, are you cool with having your race wiped out as well? Because at that point, while Israelis are hunkered down, you will be left out in the open.

I recall in the first gulf war the palestinians cheering Sadaam, till they realized some of the scuds fell short. Naturally they blamed Israel for not providing them gas masks. Fortunately not needed. A nuke could land on Amann as easily as Tel Aviv.
