Senate previews complete, GOP set to gain 6 seats, earn majority
Election Projection ^ | January 29, 2014 | Scott Elliott

Posted on 01/29/2014 4:40:42 PM PST by SMGFan

I'm done with my Senate race previews. And after flipping the North Carolina Senate Election to red due to yet another poll showing incumbent Democrat Kay Hagan falling behind, Election Projection has the GOP projected to gain 6 seats at this early stage in the election cycle. Of course, that means if these projections hold true, Republicans will claim the majority in the 2014 Senate Elections.

Well, he has done a well thought out analysis. But of course it is too early. Plenty of chance for GOP to blow it and there are those up to 8( is it?) often awful Republican Senators.

Oh well that settles it. I guess we don’t need an election then do we???

Come on folks this is critical. We MUST get conservatives elected. The MORE the better. That should be our focus

Not if the GOP passes amnesty. Tens of millions of conservatives
will sit out 2014. And I will be one of them. The only reason it would vote
in a general election is a Tea Party candidate makes it to the general
election. Otherwise, if amnesty passes, I will sit 2014 out.

I wonder if the author factored in VOTER FRAUD and BALLOT MANIPULATION and TAMPERING?

Make certain that you vote in your PRIMARY.

Do NOT sit out any election. That is EXACTLY what the RATs and the GOP Establishment want you to do.

This should serve as motivation for the GOPe to redouble their efforts to lose. A strong drive to pass amnesty and a pathway to citizenship should do it.

I will vote in the primary and the general election if a Tea Party candidate
makes it to the general. If amnesty passes, the GOP can replace my vote
with a newly legal Mexican.

However, knock yourself out at the polls.

We’re not going to take the Senate. GOP has no cohesion. It’s still all about Tea Party inroads and the old guard circling the wagons.

Meanwhile, Obama and Reid keep up the perpetual 1-2 punches hitting us politically and behaving like arsons at matchstick factory.

Of course, replacing Lindsey Graham with a conservative is equivalent to flipping a seat, except on issues of Senate Leadership.

I keep thinking that there are trolls who get on freeper and talk about how evil the Republicans are and that we should all just sit out the election. It makes no sense to not vote and I’m frankly sick of hearing it. Sitting out elections - classic example of insanity - doing the same thing over and over again expecting the same result. This country would be so much better off with a President Romney but noooooo he wasn’t pure enough. And now they’re going after Kansas Sentaor Roberts because, well, he’s old or something - I never have heard a good reason. So if I were a liberal operative, I would be going through these threads posting a bunch of whiny cr*p about how we should all just sit home.

What makes you think those illegals need an amnesty bill to vote?

I have ever since President Nixon signed the 18 year old vote into law when I was an active duty Marine under age 21 and will continue to do so until I die.

Too many have paid the ultimate price for us to be able to vote, hence I do not take it lightly or for granted. Nobody should.

Lindsey Graham and the term: “Senate Leadership” should never be used in the same sentence.

Well said. There is almost no limit to the measures the Republican establishment will take to ensure defeat.

I will sit 2014 out.

Well git yer corn cob pipe, yer corn cob fer yer butt and head to the hills.

It is logical thought and calm reasoning that you display that is the reason obama is the pResident.

You, and other purists are the reason we are stuck with this prick and his band of thieves.

Happy now, wait 'til you give us hildabitch.

It looks good until next week when the GOP comes out for "immigration reform".

Then 2014 will shape up to be a Republican rout as Constitutional-minded Americans boycott the elections and abandon the GOP-e Quislings in droves.
