A local news station brings viewers inside one Pennsylvania company as the employees their learn about their new health care plans under Obamacare:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuA2_P-m4Sk

"Look at the numbers," says the reporter of two employees. "Jeff and Dave used to have a $1,250 deductible. Since Obamacare went into effect, it's now jumped 60 percent to $2,000. That's nothing compared to Brian, Kristi, and Judy who have kids. they are going to pay twice that, four grand." The reporter adds that co-pays are being increased, too.

"I don't know how President Obama thinks he's helping us because we can't afford this, we can't afford to pay these co-pays, to pay these deductibles on what we're making," says one of the workers.

Another worker adds, "They call it the affordable health plan. There's nothing affordable about it. I can't afford it."

These people mistakenly believe that Obamacare was meant to help the people and be a success. It wasn’t. It was meant to fail (and bring on single-payer) and to control the people.

How many of those complaining workers living in that blue state voted for Obama?

Odds are these employees that are upset voted for Obastard (PA went for him, right?), so tough noogies. You were warned, and you chose not to believe us.

I'm still pi$$ed the LIVs are bringing us all down with them.

It's too bad this news story doesn't tell us which of these employees voted for Obama and which did not.

Do you think they'd really fess up to that now?

—— how many of those “workers” voted for the one? How many of them supported democrats for the senate and the house? ——

It sounds like the last lady interviewed may have. She wants the company to pay the deductible.

People don’t understand that the expense comes right off the top of the employee’s salary, when “the company pays for it.”

Poor Judy! Her premiums went up 42%/mo. Poor Gary - the owner of the business - his went up 62%.

Welp....0bammy didn’t say it was going to be affordable for crazy @zz crackers!!

How else do we think healthcare will be *affordable* for all the illegals and those who depend on welfare as a career?

I wonder how long before this video is yanked.

I hope they weren’t obama voters.

I hope they were, too. I hope all of their friends and families voted for this.
Although, I doubt that the owner of this shop did.

I don’t understand how the bottom hasn’t fallen out yet. Sure, the Christmas #’s where weak, but not off the table. At what point is there a massive contraction that not even the liars in this administration can hide?

wow — that's just gut wrenching. How does a 51 yr old woman working as an adminsitrative ass’t positon in a collision repair shop afford a $1400/mos insurance premium and a $4K deductable?

It is gut-wrenching and I'm sure she can't.

Seems likely these numbers would fit the 'unaffordability' criterion for her and she would qualify for a subsidy on an exchange. I'm no expert on employer coverage as long gone from that marketplace.

And people are still taking potshots at Cruz. He is right to take no more questions on the Obama-Reid shutdown. It just gives them another chance to lie about it on the airwaves.

“I live in Pennsylvania, and I still see Obama bumper stickers all over the place.”

***

Yes, one of my friends has one of those stickers from 2008.

Her employer reduced her hours, so she no longer qualifies for company health care. She was whining that an individual policy will cost her a fortune and she will have a hefty deductible — the employer’s insurance had no deductible.

But she won’t blame Obama. She’ll blame her employer, insurance companies, anyone else but Obama. She’s a true believer, not unlike those who perished at Jonestown. And like those at Jonestown, she will die for her god.

Obama would just say their employer needs to raise their pay to help them afford the higher costs.

I think the plump blond woman with the 2 kids who’s paying 1300 dollars a month now voted for Obama. You could see the surprise and confusion in her face as she was talking.

No such threshold exists.

It does not matter how many rural counties are blue and vote for the GOP outside of the Democrat controlled big cities it is all about the numbers of Obama voters in those big cities overwhelming the suburban and rural votes.
