Republicans rate Sarah Palin higher than every potential 2016 presidential contender, even though she is not even considered to be in the running, a new poll has found.

A Public Policy Polling survey conducted Jan. 23-26 showed that the former governor of Alaska has a 70 percent favorability rating among GOP primary voters, topping six other potential candidates in the poll, even though her name was not on the list of 2016 GOP candidates to choose from.

"The best-liked person we tested on this poll with Republican primary voters is actually Sarah Palin," the poll noted.

In the survey of 845 registered voters, including 457 Republican primary voters, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee tops the list of possible presidential contenders, with a favorability rating of 64 percent. Fifty-eight percent of respondents have a positive view of both Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, the former 2012 vice presidential nominee.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has a 56 percent favorability rating, and 45 percent of respondents view Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in a positive light. Embattled New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie comes in last with a 40 percent favorability rating....

Me too. Establishment Republicans apparently snubbed Palin and kept her out of the 2012 convention; and that rubbed me wrong in many ways.

The 2008 stock market crash is what kept Palin from becoming our V.P.; just imagine if that event hadn’t occurred.

Yeah, and just imagine a Juan McLame Presidency too! In a perverse way, Sarah should be thanking her lucky stars that McLame lost, because at a the end of the McLame Administration, she would have zero credibility. Actually, with some here, she’s taking crap for not having cut all ties with McLame. Count me as one of them.

Any ticket with Palin on it works for me, regardless of which party it’s affiliated with. If she runs, she has my vote. Again.

No kidding. When Romney and the GOP convention in 2012 basically told Palin to “get lost,” it was pretty much the final straw for me, in regards to both the Republican Party and the whole blasted election.

Used to watch the GOP conventions on tv from beginning to end, every single election, going back over three decades. 2012 was the first time I ever tuned it out. Didn’t even watch a single minute of it. (well, other than the clip of Eastwood).

Had Palin been our VP, John McCain would have been our president.

This news has to have Barbara Bush tightly clutching her polished pearls. Now she may order Jeb to run, maybe reinvent himself even, as a tea partier!”

Not by a longshot.

Stock Market would have been irrelevant had she not been hitched to Juan McAmnesty. Unless the president has cancer or inoperable heart disease the vice presidency does not register that high on the list of factors framing the decision of most voters.

Palin??? relax, it ain’t gonna happen. The MSM will pick the GOP candidate, as usual. There is no way the MSM will allow a woman against that other woman who awaits her coronation.

Sorry, I think this is a fantasy. Sarah Palin was a mayor, a governor(pretty popular and successful too, as I understand) and a vice presidential candidate. She’s finished with politics, running for office, I mean.People spent much of 2011 a nd early 2012 hoping she would jump into the pres. race. She didnt.
I’m sure she will continue to be an important influence in other ways and may accept an appointment of some sort, but I just don’t think that she will run for office again.

I agree the MSM ( the media) will pick the GOP nominee again.

the news media rules the USA. and the media are marxists/democrats

the media will probably pick Jeb Bush or Christie or the Huckster , 3 liberals

What we need for the next GOP nominee and next president is Sarah Palin,Ted Cruz or Susana Martinez.

As much as I love Sarah, and I do. She really cannot run again against this media and these liberal asshats in Gov’t. They will eat her alive.

We should also be thanking our lucky stars Romney got vote-frauded out of winning, as idiot RAT-voting Americans are suddenly learning that Marxism really does mean taking money from Rats and Conservatives to give to the free-loaders.

Marxism doesn’t care who it gets the money from. Leftists just crony their way out of coughing up the cash going to the underpriveleged.

Now it’s time to trumpet from the rooftops what Scott Walker did in Wisconsin. He used conservative economic principles to reform his state finances, and wound up with nearly a billion dollar surplus which he is returning to the taxpayers.

If I were Donald Trump, or Rick Perry, I would hit every state’s Gov every week, showing them the way out of RAT debt slavery to prosperity using Walker’s example.

Scott has blown every RAT economic policy so far to smithereens that there is no excuse for all the 50 not to adopt and execute his success model.

We tend to make our predictions through the framework of what we are looking at today, as if today's snapshot is the one that the voters will have in mind when they go to the polls in 2016, almost three years away.

Did not odinga promise more damage, increasing tyranny, more lawlessness, and more mindless misery for the American pipple? And all this just for the coming year?

Our political landscape could, and will likely, shift dramatically over the next years, perhaps months. Our national capitol could end up in Tulsa, or OKC, or somewhere else, before the stench of this commie is removed.

I wouldn't say she'd have to cut all ties w/ him, but it sure hurts her in my estimation that she spake so glowingly of him here.
(My Post 115 explains why her continued support of of him is, at best, misguided.)
