Is the Assad Regime in League with al-Qaeda? [Team Obama Tries New Line]

For months, anti-regime activist claims that the Syrian government has cultivated a beneficial relationship with al-Qaeda groups in order to undermine the opposition have fallen on deaf ears.

After all, the idea that Syrian President Bashar Assad, who has staked his leadership platform on a campaign against “terrorists”—his term for all anti-government fighters and supporters—would engage with the most radical of all rebel groups, reeks of conspiracy theories. Yet an emerging consensus among analysts and Western diplomats reveals that there might be some truth to the accusations after all. The opposition is now hoping that a shift in the current Syria narrative—which pits the regime against dangerous Islamist extremists—may help spur an international push to remove Assad from power, according to Rami Jarrah, a well-regarded Syrian anti-regime activist who is currently in Geneva on the sidelines of the talks.

So this is the latest trial balloon we are supposed to believe.

Team Obama, assisted by Hillary and Kerry, have made sweet embraces with Iran, and Iran for YEARS has been known to be the real power behind Assad. So now we are to believe Assad is buddying up to Al Qaeda.

Of course, 95% of the media has IGNORED the ties between the rebels and Al Qaeda.... including when they beheaded a Catholic priest.

If the Islamo-fascists win in Syria Assad’s people will be exterminated along with the Christians. So the answer is no. The question should be, is Obama in league with Alqeada?

Cut the crap about concern about who is, or is not al-Qaeda (=the Base).

Obama is using that term as a distraction to coverup his failures, scandals, Derelictions of Duty, High Crimes, and plain old incompetence.

The reality is that from 9-11-2001 until now, the United States of America has been engaged in a Guerrilla War.

Time moves on, guerrilla leaders and fighters come and go, but the guerrilla war continues.

It is not WHO fights us, it is THAT they fight us.

Because we seldom as WHY? we relegate ourselves to fighting what we do not understand.

I do not believe Al Qaeda would be interested in cooperating with a Shiite Muslim sect.unless us Infidels were the target.

To me, what the fundamental Sunni Muslims (Al Qeda) should be doing in Syria is defeating the Alawite regime, (a Shiite Sect)of Assad, and taking over the country.

Assad is a traitorous Muslim who does not support the fundamentals of Isslam.
Assad is an Infidel collaborator.
If the Sunnis defeat Assad, the Christians, Alawites ,Shiites and other Infidel sects will be fair game to the Sunnis. - Tom
