President Obama on Friday said that he believed immigration reform could pass in 2014, but cautioned that he would consider executive actions if House Republicans fail to act.
“There are still some differences, and obviously, the devil is in the details. But it is my firm belief that we can get immigration reform done this year,” said Obama in a Google+ Hangout in which he took questions from the public.
“Obviously, if at some point we see that it's not getting done, I'm going to look at options to make sure that we have a rational, smart system of immigration,” the president added. “But I'm going to do everything I can in these coming months to see if we can get this over the finish line. And I think we actually can get it done.”

It sure would be nice if the Congress was more concerned about protecting their country, than helping to destroy it. The overreach and abuse continues against the people, without any protection from Congress.

While not exactly amnesty, what if Obama were to issue a blanket amnesty for immigration violations to everyone who entered illegally?

I am appalled that the Republican ‘leadership’ is sooooo stupid! Someone needs to shout from the rooftops ‘Obama will nullify EVERY SAFEGUARD you put into your ridiculous immigration Bill’. Haven’t they been paying attention? If Obama goes it alone, I hope they do bring impeachment articles against him. I AM FED UP!
Immigration is more about obama opening the doors wider for muslims than anything else.
