Hanson-Youngs performance in that Senate estimates hearing yesterday was in many ways her most clownish yet. Not only did she seem to think Sea Patrol, starring Lisa McCune, was real, she repeatedly called Lieutenant-General Angus Campbell Lieutenant:
How on earth can somebody involved in the government of their nation be so ignorant and ill educated that she does not understand the difference between a Lieutenant and a Lieutenant General? This Senator gets to vote on Australia's defence...
I wonder how she'd react if somebody misused her title as 'Senator' (being a Green, it's possible, she's so trendy she doesn't care, so she may not be a hypocrite about this... I just wonder.)

It could be worse she could be laying in bed a night worrying that Guam is going to flip over at any minute.
Could Hanson-Young in any way be related to Nancy Pelosi, Jackson Lee or Cynthia McKinney?
She sounds like many of our ignorant politicians, a propagandist hire who’s in way over her head. Pathetic.
I have wondered if our politicians should be made to pass a civics/Constitutional knowledge test before they are allowed to run. I think we should have applications, if they want to be hired and campaigning is just a face-to-face interview after the application looks good. I think they should have random drug tests just like the military.
That’s not so bad, our so-called ‘commander in chief’ calls our soldiers ‘corpsemen’.
or maybe about the flags Neil Armstrong put on the moon
or maybe about the flags Neil Armstrong put on Mars
They are ignorant.
Another weak brain: Presumptive US ambassador to China, Max Baucus: ‘I’m no real expert on China.’
How about if the General addressed her in return as Mess, instead of Ms.?
Darn! Where is that 'Edit' button? LOL
tell me about it

The Marine corpse would save her.
