The reluctance of abortion-rights advocates to call the procedure by its name, and their preference for euphemism, is legend.

To the euphemistic lexicon of "pro-choice," "women's health," "reproductive freedom," etc. ad nauseum, Charles Blow has made the latest contribution. His New York Times column of today speaks of Republican candidates opposing "a full range of reproductive options for women."

There is a whole lot here I could say about abortion, by whatever name they choose to disguise it that ranges from murder to evil, to sterilization, but I will not.

I will say, that I would never have anything to do with a woman that chooses to abort a child simply because of convenience.

Euphemisms have always been used by humans. They try to minimize the effects of a word's meanings. Women DO have the right to commit murder but NOW have talked themselves into having no guilt about it. They know it's wrong and will pay the price, sooner or later.

Murdering one's own flesh and blood. Well, I guess it goes back to original sin and Cain and Abel.
