Put Christie under oath
NY Daily News ^ | 1/31/14 | Editorial Board

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men will never put Chris Christie together again if New Jersey’s governor fails to refute the accusation that he knew of the George Washington Bridge lane closures as they were taking place.

In that event, Christie’s governorship is over and he should prepare to face a federal criminal probe as a private citizen. Resignation would be a must. Otherwise, impeachment would be a snap.

Christie stands on the brink of ruin thanks to David Wildstein, the high school pal who, as his Port Authority enforcer, ordered the closures that plunged Fort Lee into four days of gridlock.

Wildstein’s lawyer on Friday released a letter that paints Christie as one of the most bold-faced liars in modern political history. And Christie’s response, amounting to one great big dodge, did nothing to dispel the notion.

Not at all a Christie fan, but this is peanuts compared to the ongoing daily corruption committed by Democrats, and their willing accomplices in the media.

That don’t mean a thing. Christie is a closet Democrat at heart. Oath didn’t mean anything to Clinton (either one), nor did/does mean anything to Obama.

It would only mean something to an honorable man.

Put Christie under oath, and put Obama under oath.

Never happen. Insisting on doing so would be "raaaaacist."

They waited until he signed the NJ Amnesty bill before they threw under the bus.

The day after he signed the Amnesty bill = Under The Bus.

I am trying to avoid getting into what the meaning of the word “is” is.

But from the article:

Christie said,

“I knew nothing about this. And until it started to be reported in the papers about the closure, but even then I was told this was a traffic study.”

which means Christie said, he know nothing until the papers reported on the closure

which is basically what the attorney says

“Attorney Alan Zegas stated that “evidence exists . . . tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures, during the period when the lanes were closed

In my opinion, knowing about the 4 day lane closures until it is in the newspapers is the same as knowledge of lane closures during the period when the lanes are closed.

He lied about a traffic jam,ok if that is now the standard then where is the Commander in Chief on that scale? Or maybe the former Secretary of State? How about the National security advisor? Obama,Hillary,Suasan Rice lied and people died, millions of Americans have lost health insurance and that is costing lives,So I’m waiting for the calls for these reprobates to be drummed out of office

Not a Christie fan but the letter does nothing in the way of moving the ball beyond where it was. It says his administration knew. Cool, but we already knew that. The question is whether he personally knew. The letter does nothing to advance that.

Of course, the SOU flopped and the Messiah is tanking. Voila, it’s back to Christie 24/7. It’s on to prosecuting and investigating any Republican who might take out their precious Hillary. It’s on to sicking the IRS on us and indicting film makers and Fox News reporters who do bot tow the party line of his majesty. To the Tower with them all, that is the Chicago way.

Christie should resign but Harry Reid is fine. An traffic jam, that would have occurred anyway. You should see the one’s caused by union workers who will only work during rush hour.

Sorry folks, whether you like or hate Christie he has become the latest example of the democrat prosecution machine as it marches to illegalize the opposition. Tom DeLay says hi.

Put Christie in a traffic jam without any donuts.

We can NEVER FORGIVE the RNC. They propped up Christie's campaign to bloat his numbers when he was a sure win. Meanwhile, they starved the VA governor candidate of the financial support that problably would've given him the win.

Christie's bad news. His embrace of Obama during Sandy is beginning to look like a dirty trick to open up a path to the presidency for himself in four years.

This is all unfounded speculation. I look forward to the data proving me wrong.

Re: Put Christie under oath, and put Obama under oath.

Liars lie. So what good will putting them under oath do.
Perjury is a way of life with politicians in general and Lawyer Politicians in particular. Penalties? Disbar them. Riiight. From what? Neither practice law. Impeach them? Christie? Probably. Obama? Snicker, snicker, snort.

I agree. I don’t like Christi, well I don’t trust him, lets say it that way, but he was starting to come out in good numbers something Hilliary cant afford, after all, her highness is EXPECTING to be the next Queen of the Land, to carry on what King Smell Bad has done.....

For this point if Christie makes it, I will be supporting him, we don’t need The Queen to run our Country...

Just another example of how willfully ignorant the media has become. If somebody makes a big accusation against you, it’s up to them to prove it, not to you to disprove it.

And why did it take him three weeks to pile on? I suppose it takes that long to wait for Christie to have his say, then to work up an email around it that muddies the waters so people just throw up their hands and say, well there has to be something there, that email is pretty damning even if it isn’t a smoking gun.

Exactly. The RNC money that was diverted from Cuccinelli went to Christie’s crony consultants, advertising agencies, media buying firms and liberal media radio and tv stations. The same liberal media radio and tv stations that are now attacking Fat Boy. To hell with Chris Christie, Reince Priebus and Karl Rove.

Karl Rove and the RNC gave millions of dollars in advertising spending to the same tv and radio stations that are taking down fat boy. The RNC and Karl Rove funded the liberal media take down of Christie. It’s too funny.
