Minneapolis police are investigating the fatal shooting of an elderly homeowner who was approached by a man begging for help and fearing for his life late Friday morning.
At 11:46 a.m. Friday, officers were called a home on the 3700 block of Aldrich Ave. N. in the McKinley neighborhood on a report of a man who had gone to the house and asked the homeowner to call police.

This ‘report’ didn’t say WHY the man originally asking for help WAS STILL inside the house. My bet is that perp didn’t expect the squads arriving so soon.

Heard on news last night that murder rate for DC is already 14 as of 1/31/14 (compared to 3 last year).

Why would anyone answer a knock on the door on the 3700 block of Aldrich Ave North? Even during daylight hours, a man is advised to keep a hand near his holster and a sharp look out I t that crime and welfare ridden area.

Read the link in post 4 (Daily Mail). He got locked in the house and was in process of assaulting the victim’s wife in an effort to get the keys when the cops arrived (I think: hard article to decipher).
And yet we're to believe there are massive numbers of Blacks in jail for non-violent crimes.
..So we have to go to the UK to find out a more complete picture of this event? Even the VIDEO at the US link did nothing to show the race or gangsta-like persona of the perp.
