“I mean....to the men! It’s tough being a sex object but somebody’s got to do it.”

Hi Sister Pat!

Well, these dudes are finding out something we’ve known for quite some time.

Please send me your tips and hints via FReep mail - - I’d like to know your secrets so I can be one, too :-)

LG, I can only say that Cantor does have some good taste in some areas ;-)

BTW - I didn’t know he supported the Seahawks

Sounds like something my grandmother used to make.

I used to make what I called stew with dumplings, but they weren’t the old-fashioned, made with flour kind, I made the “dumplings” with Bisquick. But, they were tasty with the stew.

“Stepinawfulpis just asked Paul Ryan: “If Obama is violating the Constitution, why don’t you impeach him?” - Ryan didn’t directly respond.”

Well, two things.

1. Ryan over the last few month has shown his true RINO colors

2. Senator Cruz attacks these left wing Fascists - He doe NOT let them get away with this crap.

But what can one expect from a RINO who is getting personally wealthy while the rest of use stew while we wait to vote in the primaries.

One thing I’ve noticed about Super Bowl games is the team which better adjusts in the second half wins. How are these two teams in such matters?

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I could use a photo of one of snugs’ Sunday dinners. Haven’t seen one in a while.

“- but our political parties have turned into the seriously opposing divisions that Jamaicans knew back then. It is so unhealthy.-”

Politics is WAR. Socialist slavery is a bad option. Live Free or Die.

30+ million Ukrainians and other no longer Russians, died during the U.S.S.R experiment. In the late 70’s 3+ million died in Cambodia under the Camer Rouge.

FDR sold eastern Europe to Communist slavery.

Today Obama is allowing Iran to go nuclear. Looks a lot like 1914

Even in the NE corridor there are too many variables to do that does not fit a train.

That depends. When I was growing up in northern New Jersey, my Dad commuted into NYC for years on a train. Later when I was commuting into NYC, I used the same train. Cheaper than driving.

We being in 1.2 million legal immigrants a year. Two thirds of them will vote Dem once they get their citizenship.

If that is true - and I suspect it is - then there must be 1.2 million leaving every year because the media has been broadcasting 11-12 million illegals in America for over a DECADE.

“-OMG, Christy, Christy, Christy. Gregory is having an orgasm right on the set. He really thinks they got him now. Maybe they do. Not many of us give a darn, right?-”

I say, let the left wing Fascists do away with the RINO

Thank you, Sister Pat, for rooting for and blessing my guys!

I like Rush, but have quit listening to him (got tired of him continously plugging Apple products on his show — -that’s not why I was tuning him to hear him, and let him know that once, though he probably never read my email). I do read the transcripts almost daily.

He (or his staff) needs to do more research - -as you and I discussed last week, we KNOW that a Seahawk is an actual bird.

From the official Seattle Seahawks website under FAQs:
The name Seahawks

Q:How did the team get the name Seahawks?

A: In June of 1975 a contest was held to name the team. After receiving more than 20,000 entries the name Seahawks was chosen.

Q: What is a Seahawk?

A: Seahawk is another name for an osprey. Ospreys are birds that live on rivers and sea coasts all over the world. They have a wing span of 4 to 6 feet, and body length of 22” to 25”. Seahawks soar over the water to hunt for fish, and unlike eagles, ospreys often dive completely under water, using powerful talons to grab their prey.

Oh yes - - I think they dumped Christie a week or two ago. I can’t believe they were still talking about him on DNC Dave this morning - - come on, there are a lot of other things to discuss (though, of course, NBC and MSNBC doesn’t want to touch them with a 10-foot pole - - gotta protect their guy and team): IRS, Benghazi, NASA, I’m going to use my pen and phone (and the probable un-Constitutionality of him doing so), etc., etc.

I briefly heard Jeb yesterday on FNC. IMHO he was acting a bit coyish. I suspect he really wants it, but is laying low for now to see how things turn out, especially this year’s election. In the past I respected Bush and what it appeared he did as Gov in FL. That said, I do not support his push for amnesty and I don’t think he could win - - too many don’t want another Bush and/or will be equating him with his bro and/or dad. The GOPe might be pushing him, but, IMHO he’d lose in a Presidential election, especially against Hillary! (and I still don’t think she’s going to run).

I don't think high-speed rail works in Florida for one reason: people who visit the state as tourists don't travel throughout the state as tourists--they usually stay in one spot (e.g., they arrive in Miami, and stay mostly in Miami, or they arrive in the Orlando area to visit Disney World and other theme parks there and just stay in the Orlando area).

Interestingly, there is one place in the USA where high speed rail has a chance: the Dallas/Fort Worth-San Antonio-Houston triangle. There is a LOT of business travel between these three cities (plus Austin between Dallas and San Antonio), and the airlines plus the Interstate freeways between these three cities are already running at effective capacity now. This is where the Texas Central Railway proposal comes in: it will use the international version of the 700 Series Shinkansen trainset (N700-I) for trains travelling at 330 km/h (205 mph) to travel initially between Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston, with eventual extensions to form the triangle of routes (e.g., adding Houston to San Antonio, San Antonio to Dallas via Austin). Because it uses "off the shelf" high-speed trainset technology already in use on Japan's Shinkansen network and the fact the topography between Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio does not require building through mountain ranges (e.g., a lot of tunneling work) or extensive need for earthquake safety mitigation, construction costs on a per-mile basis will not be ridiculously exorbitant like the California system will cost.

Imagine Dallas/Fort Worth to Houston in 90 minutes, Houston to San Antonio just under an hour, and San Antonio to Dallas/Fort Worth in around 105 minutes.

It sounds like a crazy idea, but remember this system is designed primarily for business travellers, the people most likely to use them. After all, in Japan on the Tokaido Shinkansen line between Tokyo and Osaka, most the the passengers travel on business, and as such the Central Japan Railway Company (which operates the Tokaido Shinkansen trains) enjoys healthy profits from such a steady stream of passengers.

Christie is the big talk? What is more important, Christie or targeting people who disagree politically using the IRS?
Another... people are going to die because they do not get treated on time due to the new Obamacare program to get votes.
The networks have their priorities all screwed up. The networks place party politics first, before what is right.

I agree. American jobs for American workers. Here is an excellent article from the Daily Caller that makes that same point

And the Reps can make that point citing the horrendous unemployment figures among blacks.

Great letter AB!
BTW - I think Jeff Sessions is the best!!!

I remember when Tony Snow (God rest his soul) had his radio show and FR had a daily thread. There was a FReeper on the thread that called him “Senator Cute as a Button”.
onyx - - was that you or do you remember it?

At any rate, Sen Sessions is a first-class conservative Senator - - we need more like him!

The 1.2 million are LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. The 11 to 12 million cited by the government are ILLEGAL ALIENS.

We have almost 45 million foreign born in this country. We have also had the highest two decades of immigration in American history. One in 8 is foreign-born, the highest it has been for more than 90 years. In a decade it will be one in 7, the highest in our history.

I totally agree with that and was going to post something similar upthread but I got sidetracked. I’ve heard a few say it, but not many.

I also admire Jeff Sessions. He got a kick in the gut, and thus “fire in the belly” when the Senate rejected Reagan’s nomination of him for federal judgeship (1986).
