President Barack Obama is out of gas. Pooped out. Gone fishing. Or rather, golfing. Hes just not that into it anymore. The republic is safe from any further vast left-wing legislative prescriptions for our ills.
But Obamas increasing job fatigue is, paradoxically, cause for serious concern. While he sits back, aides in the White House and in the agencies are busy enacting a stealth agenda of rules and regulations. And on the world stage, Washingtons withdrawal threatens national security.
The president on display at Tuesdays State of the Union is one who has shrunk from the pretension of becoming a president on the order of Ronald Reagan or Franklin Roosevelt into the purveyor of a list of puny policies that tinker at the margins.
Instead of offering fundamental change and inspirational hope, Obama made increasing the minimum wage for federal contractors the centerpiece of this years address. The increasingly disinterested president even had trouble pronouncing the name of his other big idea, a limited savings vehicle the White House is calling a MyRA.
Major issues like debt, deficit and entitlements? Fuhgetaboutit, way too much bother....

You, too, have read Ciaro ‘s continuing biography (obsession?) About LBJ.
The ‘phone it in’ Pres_ent.
Rings a bell. I read so much it’s hard to keep track sometimes.
Yes, the good thing about Obama is that he proposes new programs from day to day and has no strategy. The bad thing is the GOPe has no strategy, either.
He’s so exhausted he barely has the energy for a second round of golf on the weekends.
REWRITE: The president is full of gas and poop, and his policies smell like a dead fish.
Now if the media used that as a lead-in, they would be telling the truth about Comrade Obama for the first time since November 2008.
As Steve Tyler would say “Dream ON”.
This writer is STUPID or else trying to LULL us into a false sense of thinking Obama is just going to coast.....he ISN”T.....He has done MORE to RUIN this country than all the other Presidents COMBINED!!! GAYS in the military, Gay “Weddings”, Abortion EVERYWHERE, DEBT to RUIN us, the “JUST US” Dept. of INJUSTICE....just to name a few.
Obongo may be asleep, but his fellow travelers are still hard at work destroying this country.
Saw a yugo race years ago at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
As they’d go around a turn fast the two outer wheels came off the ground
Of about 30 in the race 3 or 4 rolled
And these were driven to the track as their family cAr
What a piece of crap
They were in Drowning Mona
And the ones sent here were built by the most experienced assemblers and gone over with a fine tooth comb compared to the run-of-the-mill Yugos sold in their home country! Imagine that.
Regarding Barry’s tenure... Cloward and Piven could not have possibly envisioned their “theory” implemented and executed like this administration has done. Have another bong hit, Barry.
Watch for:
Prison reform: exec order amnesty for “3 strikes” victems of racism
Health Care: fraud benefiting foreign banks (ultimate owners) of the health insurance companies. Notice zero effort towards cost caontainment on any level.
Wood stove ban: (EPA) you MUST buy fossil fuel or electric heat
Cairo is now up to 4 volumes, each in the 800 to 1,000 page range, and has only gotten past LBL’s first 6 months as president. He lists hundreds of collaborators and sources in the acknowledgements part of his most recent book. For him LBJ seems to have become almost as much of an obsession as the decline and fall of the Roman Empire did for Edward Gibbon in the 18th century. Indeed, Cairo’s work on LBJ seems to have become a huge cottage industry. Of course, Cairo has electricity and computers while Gibbon had to limp along with candles and quill pens.
