President Barack Obama said that he is in a lot of ways less liberal than former Republican President Richard Nixon and said Fox News Channel's Bill OReilly has been absolutely unfair to him throughout his presidency in an interview that aired Monday night.
In a lot of ways Richard Nixon was more liberal than I was, Obama said. He started the EPA, started a whole lot of the regulatory state that has helped keep our air and water clean.
Obama's comments came in response to O'Reilly asking him if he was the most liberal president of all time. Obama also listed Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson as presidents who were also more liberal than him.
OReilly conducted a live and at times contentious interview with the president on Sunday ahead of the Super Bowl. An additional taped portion of the interview aired on The OReilly Factor on Monday.
During the sit-down in which OReilly asked about issues like the 2012 Benghazi attack and the troubled health care roll out, the Fox News firebrand asked the president if he felt his network has been unfair to his administration.

I might not disagree with this.
However the difference between the two of them, and BO, is that they were American citizens and (probably) not actively trying to destroy the country.
IMHO, Stalin, Hitler, et al WISHED that they had control of the media like BO does.
Does this guy EVER man up?
Really, this guy sounds no more mentally and emotionally advanced than a teenager. It’s like, anyone who tells him to “clean up his room” and he goes off whining, crying, and blaming everyone else for the MESS he created.
Grow up!
How in the world did this guy ever get to be president?
Tere is some truth in his statement about Nixon who gave us the EPA, Affirmative Action and a few other liberal causes. Then again, Nixon resigned in disgrace.
And then Julie Nixon Eisenhower, who complained about the media’s unfair treatment of her father, endorsed Obama.
The article title claims an “extensive” interview. It was ten minutes!
That's what Katie Couric does. That's why she's so good.
Awwwwwwwwwwww.
NCB News tries to help out The One after that meanie O’Reilly asked him questions.
Obama, who has never taken responsibility for anything, continued his blame-game: ‘it is FoxNews’s fault.’
When your spokesperson Jay Carney just under a year ago confirmed that the IRS was using its frightening powers to go after Conservative 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) groups, that is abuse of power that scares a lot of people--and in fact, one of the Articles of Impeachment against President Nixon in 1974 was his threat to use the IRS' powers against political opponents, which clearly happened under your watch.
There are clear violations of multiple Federal laws in terms of violations of privacy in regards to Federal tax filings with what happened between 2010 and 2012, all of which are Federal felony crimes; you have a lot to answer to, especially who authorized it in the first place.
Such a thin-skinned little negro fellow he is.
“I can take on the Iranians, Vlad Putin and Al Qaeda. But the big bad TV network and the disc jockey from Missouri get me curled-up in the corner in the fetal position.”
When is this chump going to realize he is the damned President of the United States of America? Last night I was reading a book to my 9 year old about the Declaration of Independence...and what it took for this great document to come into being. And I just wanted to cry knowing what has happened since this anti-American creep was elected. Yes, we must not forget the people wanted this, which is even more sad.
Why did o'Reilly provide a PROVEN LIAR the platform to spread his lies, mistruths, half-truths and propaganda? After it was over, O'Reiley went as far as to say that he didn't feel the commie kenyan meant any harm toward the Country.
I've long suspected that he's a closet 0bamunist and if you dropped him in the MSNBC lineup he would fit nicely.
