GOP Amnesty: The Final Last Straw
am thinker ^ | 2/4/14 | j hatter

The Republican Party is pushing immigration reform, and the GOP's new apparent political adviser, Chuck Schumer, gleefully approves. Next, the Democrat senator will be advising the party on gun control, government spending, abortion and homosexual marriage.

We finally have a news cycle that exposes Obama and his socialist Democrats' biggest blunder, the absolute worst piece of legislation in the history of the nation -- Obamacare. And the GOP's response is to divert national attention to an illegal immigration reform plan that most Americans adamantly oppose. Is the Republican leadership insane?

The editors at National Review call the GOP immigration reform push "one of the most mystifyingly stupid misadventures in recent congressional history." The GOP establishment (GOPe) doesn't need to be handing the media issues to flog us with. The party needs to focus on winning elections, and that means flogging the Democrats with issues that matter -- jobs, Obamacare, and government spending -- day after day. But Speaker Boehner is forcing the issue of immigration to the front burner, instead of issues Americans desperately care about.

"Day after the 2012 election, I said it's time for Congress and the president to deal with this very important issue," Boehner said at a morning news conference. "I think it's time to deal with it."

John Boehner is bumbling around doing the bidding of the last powerful interest group who talked to him, the Chamber of Commerce.

There is a most optimistic possibility, that they plan on talking amnesty then blaming inaction on Obama, like we say on Sunday shows.

But you never can be sure.

‘Reforming ‘ immigration with amnesty is to the GOP what privatizing or gutting future entitlements is to Dems.

Is the Republican leadership insane?

Most politicians, in Washington, are insane. They always have been. Once in a while though, there comes a few years of sanity. President Reagan was the only sane one there for eight years. The insane yelled, yelled and yelled. The insane are fun to watch but when they lead, we have today.

I think the time is rapidly approaching, when we as a party need to think about someone who is willing to ... well just saying.

Sarah Palin.

Is the Republican leadership insane?

No, just stupid. If they win by a landslide in November, they would be expected to do something and they obviously would rather maintain the status quo.

The left will accept ANYTHING from the GOP on immigration ‘reform’

A-ny-thing!

No matter what the GOP elite think and say, on how theirs is so much of a better plan, the Democraps will say “OK sure, gosh you’re so right Mister Boehner”

Then..

THEY WILL *FIX* IT IN COMITTEE

After a full five years of Obamanation, it is time to stop using the following “surprise” words when describing Obama’s words, actions and inactions:
* Beyond Belief
* Unbelievable
* Surprising
* Incredible
* Astounding
* Shocking
* Unexpected
* Unprecedented
* Obama can’t do that
* Obama is oblivious to critics
* Obama is unaware of facts
* Obama ignores the Constitution

We know that Obama always does the opposite of what he says that he is going to do.

We know that Obama always states a lie at the start of each paragraph of a speech or comment.

We know that thanks to gullible RINOs Boehner and McConnell, Obama has been very successful in “Fundamentally transforming the United States of America” into a Neo-Communist Nation.

To continue to be “surprised” at what Commie Obama does and doesn’t do is to prove to ourselves that we are gullible, low information voters that haven’t learned a damn thing about the evils of the very predictable Communist Obamanation that has been killing our Republic for the last 5 Years.

Call Obama a lier when he lies, and hold Obama accountable for all of his words, actions and inactions.

This is the result of voting for the lesser of two evils! Letting those that have R behind their name abuse their station and benefit financially at the expense of America.

The GOPe is on it’s last mile if it moves this thing forward. Kaput, Finished, OVER.

This isn't just about illegal immigration and amnesty. The GOPe wants to endorse an almost tripling of legal immigration to over 30 million in the next decade and doubling the guest worker program to 1.4 million a year.

This is about jobs and the American worker who will see lost jobs and depressed wages. It is insanity. The GOPe is selling out this country to appease their corporate paymasters.

I suspect you will be very busy working toward that goal this year. Mischaracterization is just lying by another name, and the democrips do it masterfully, duping so many who do not bother to look closely at the issues. FR will be inundated with 2008, 2009 sign-ups playing concerned troll right up until mid-November. It will be instructional to watch who posts how on these threads of deceit.

Hey GOPe person, keep your head in the ground. You can’t smell the awful aroma emanating from the stench of the party leaders.

Even talking about amnesty at this time is insane. Read 99% of the posts that come along with this thread.

Me, am not giving another dime to the Party unless it begins with “TEA”

>>The destruction of the GOP is imminent.<<

The GOP is already dead. Been infiltrated long ago by liberals.

At this point in our nation, if conservative legislation and policy is not relentlessly driven, there will be no chance of saving this nation, culture, identity, patriotism, standard of living.

It is not enough to settle for moderation. Not enough to simply meet in the middle. Progressives have pushed and pushed and pushed their agenda for decades.

Time to take a sharp right turn.

Before I forget...did anyone notice the coke commercial during the superbowl?

Singing the national anthem in several languages. I thought it was offensive as heck. Anyone else?
