New momentum in Congress for a broad overhaul of border-control laws has prompted White House allies to demand that President Obama halt deportations of millions of illegal immigrants, many of whom would be allowed to remain in the country under a legislative deal.
The advocates, including the AFL-CIO and pro-immigration groups, argue that Obama should use his executive authority to expand a 2012 decision that halted deportations of young people brought to the United States illegally by their parents. They want to stop the deportations of the illegals caught in the act of breaking in to our country. In other words to open the gates and let foreigners flood the country.
They’re putting up a full court press on all things “illegal”, “deportation”, amnesty, etc.

You can’t establish a welfare state and then have open borders. The certain result is national bankruptcy. One or the other has to ‘give’ because once the country suffers a financial collapse, the civil society will immediately breakdown. I wonder if liberals understand that once civil society collapses “all bets are off” for their way of life?
Cloward and Piven.
Boehner said today that the Republicans should not pick a fight they cannot win. IOW we give up totally, just send us our pay checks and call me if any tee times with the president open up.
The terminology should just be changed to “reunifications”.
Change the language.
