They shilled for Obama, and as Claire Booth Luce (the wife of the former owner of Time) once said:

No good deed goes unpunished.

There’s a certain SI writer that took on a poorly written vendetta against my alma mater this past fall that I hope to be shown the door.

“It’s very nerve-wracking ...”

“After decades of foisting off our bigoted fiction as news and analysis, we’ve finally got competition that’s eating our lunch! We’re just not used to being mere peasants, after all ...”

The last issue of Time Mag I looked at was 64 pages, 24 of which were ads.

I was a subscriber. I found myself leafing through pages without reading anything but a few of the depth articles. But generally it was a waste as is Sports Illustrated. Maybe they should just can the editors. I like to read print. I also like content.

Best news so far this year. But it’s still early and time enough for obozo to be removed from the Spite House!

I’m with a company that hires a lot of writers. A lot of writers that we’ve hired in the past were unfortunately journalists.

I can tell you from experience that this group are the laziest group of entitled know-it-alls that you’ll ever meet.

It’s kind of funny that we’ll often place an ad for a position, and we’ll get literally 1000 applicants for that one position.

Many of these journalism majors are so sure that they’re a great catch for any employer and are holding off until they get the job offer they deserve.

Our small town had a similar restaurant. It had enthusiastic and loyal customers and no competition. It was always full until 2008. It began running specials. Hired a different chef. Cut its hours. Then chintzed on the portions. Then closed for the winter. Then closed.

The building is for sale and has been for 2 years. Good corner location right on the highway as you enter/leave town. New-ish kitchen. No one has purchased it. Some folks tried getting a syndicate together, but there were no takers with enough cash to make it happen.

The supper club across the street closed at around the same time and is now a church.
