Army Brigadier General Martin P. Schweitzer received a "memoranda of concern" following a lurid set of emails between him and another general, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post.
Schweitzer was briefing Brigadier Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair on a recent meeting he had with tea party Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.) in 2011.

“First — she is smoking hot,” Schweitzer wrote. “Second — briefing went well . . . she was engaging . . . had done her homework. She wants us to know she stands with us and will work/push to get the Fort Bragg family resourced.”

I agree about the double standards you’re pointing out. However, when you are in a position of authority / leadership, you should be very discerning about what you put into an email.
There are some things that are best left private...particularly when the luster has stars on his shoulders and the lustee has oversight authority over said officer.

Never mind Gen. Schweizer’s stupid email. This is small potatoes compared to the general he was conversing with (Sinclair). He’s facing 35 years in the brig for a multitude of offenses including sodomy, pornography and conduct unbecoming an officer. His court martial starts next month I believe.
Several years ago at a wedding, I met a young grandmother (she was 52, I was 57) who was pretty “smoking hot” for her age - a well-tailored cocktail dress showing off a shapely figure and stunning legs. She looked better than a number of the bride’s sorority sisters and I wasn’t even drinking (designated driver back to the hotel).
