U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan had a terse response Tuesday to another wave of TV ads that a conservative group is running against her.

“The big agenda that people need to be asking is, who is it who’s funding these ads and what is their real agenda?” she said, adding that their agenda includes tax cuts for the wealthy.

Hagan responded to a question about the latest attacks by Americans for Prosperity, a group started with support of the conservative Koch brothers. The ad attacks Hagan over her support for President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

I’ve seen another one of these AFP ads a couple of times in the past couple of days. A woman with lupus tells how she’s had to take a second job just to pay her Obamacare premium, which is now $350 instead of $50. Pretty gripping.

Note to GOP-e:
This is how you win elections. Start pushing early, not 2 months before the election.

Their real agenda is to get your sorry ass out of the Senate, simple enough.

She can’t defend her Obamacare vote, so she’s attacking the people who are attacking her Obamacare vote. Such a familiar lefty strategy.

When Bill Clinton couldn’t defend his activities with Monica Lewinsky, he immediately began attacking Ken Starr, the “sex-crazed” special prosecutor.

Oh, Kay, that’s an easy one, hon! The people funding these ads want to see your azz thrown out of office and the reason they are funding them is to help get your azz thrown out of office!

Earlier, her campaign spokeswoman Sadie Weiner called the ad “just another baseless smear campaign from a Koch brothers-backed group that doesn’t disclose its donors, doesn’t speak for North Carolinians, and has a record of airing ads that fact checkers call ‘false.’ ”

Obama campaign never disclosed its donors. And?

Outside group doesn't speak for North Carolinians, but Hagan's votes affect the whole nation.

A record of airing false advertisements? Not even worth refudiating.

This article says ‘conservative Koch brothers’.

Koch brothers support right leaning political campaigns. Some conservative (probably by coincidence), some straight GOP establishment.

Other news items says Koch bothers fund efforts to undermine tea party effort, etc.
