What do you mean "us," Kemosabe? If Howard Dean wants to push a job-killing agenda of higher taxes and other redistributionist claptrap, that's his business. But could he please spare us the faux populism?

In an email Dean sent out earlier today touting the "Inequality For All" house parties his DFA group is organizing [and what sounds like more fun than getting together to gripe about what other people have?], Dean wrote [emphasis added]: "These 'Inequality for All' Watch Parties are just the kind of action we need to start leveling the playing field between the 1% and the rest of us."

All wealth, according to libtards like Dean, is first and foremost property of the government. Personal wealth, and personal property, are what individuals are allowed to keep after government lays claim to what it feels is needed.

Redistributionism is harmful for the well-being of the average person. A policy of seizure of wealth of capitalists, businessmen, and the rich to improve the consumption of the masses, is actually a policy of capital decumulation, which must destroy the foundations of the productivity of labor and thus real wages and standard of living of workers.

Taxation of incomes on estates of capitalists, businessmen, and the rich reduces the means and incentive of capital accumulation. This also has a negative effect on productivity of labor, and thus real wages.

Capital decumulation and a negative effect on capital accumulation also have a negative effect on overall economic progress, which leads to a negative effect on prosperity of the economy as a whole in the long run and leads to economic decline and decay.

It's really something that has to be done on a case by case basis but if they are involved in Left wing Globalist causes then they are probably up to no good.

Agreed. The problem lies with the rats' demagoguery and the LIVs: all the 1% are evil since they're all hedge fund managers; all inheritors of wealth live like Paris Hilton; all immigrants are PhD's raring to setup new tech companies. You see the problem - you word this stuff fast-and-loose, you blur your definitions and the propaganda gets through. Frustrates the heck outta me.

Where we are losing is in having anything to counter: you can't really hold up Jobs or Gates as exemplars, their level of achievement is in the the top 1% of 1% of 1%. People need to understand that "the rich" are sometimes their neighbors, often their bosses, more than likely the owners of the local businesses they use...

My only regret is that the upper 1% are not earning even more. They are producing wealth — most of them work quite hard. They are not stealing from me. Nor are they feudal lords, old-South slave holders, or other labor demand monopolists.

The rich can be hard working but dishonest. But we can deal with the dishonest under the criminal and civil law. My point is that the upper 1% are not stealing just because they are in the upper 1%. As for Soros, he has as much right to fund his causes as I do, even though they are wrong.

I disagree. What he and his ilk fund is outright subversion. He would be hauled up in front of the House Committee on Un-Amercican Activities if it were still around.

The Dark side 1% are very ,very dangerous not only because they have vast resources at their disposal but they are within the city walls, as Cicero warned. They have to be watched like a hawk.
