In what appears to be yet another example of the unintended consequences of ObamaCare, WHNT in Alabama is reporting that the state is facing a shortage of substitute teachers because of the law.

They obviously need more free agents.
If more unemployed is a good thing, then less education probably is too. /s
Obamacare IS like the “N” word....REPULSIVE!!
That’s unexpected. Again. Who would have guessed that doubling the price of hiring a substitute teacher would present a challenge for the school systems?
0bamacare is a nationwide Katrina with no end in sight.
In Alabama, I was amazed at all the hoopla over AEA week back in 1976 plus both of my sisters became teachers there. Both have masters and the one still working is the baby of our family. She is 9 years younger then her sister and 7 plus then me and still makes 75k for working only 9 months a year, if that. Of course she works at the elementary school in the wealthiest neighborhood with parents who are mostly engineers with masters or better. The test scores are high there, so; apparently they get more money?
Well, on the other hand, the fewer teachers are available for kids, the more they are likely to learn things of value and utility.
