???????????????????????????????

Fly Away: Illegal aliens taking U.S. jobs sent tens of billions out of the country, draining the U.S. economy.

by Gina Cassini | Top Right News

Advocates for immigration amnesty keep telling us that illegal aliens contribute massively to the economy.

That's true -- for the MEXICAN economy.

The fact is that the overwhelming amount of the wages earned by illegal aliens is not spent in this country, but simply sent back home.

Mexico received $21.59 billion in remittances from emigrants in 2013, the Bank of Mexico said. Nearly 74 million transactions were registered in 2013, with the average remittance totaling $292, the central bank said. Remittances rose 3.5 percent to $5.34 billion in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the same period in 2012, with 18.4 million transactions and an average amount of $285.30, the Bank of Mexico said.

Figures for the total amount illegal aliens sent back to their home countries is not easily available, but according to the Inter-American Development Bank, all of Latin America received a staggering $69.2 billion in remittances from the U.S. in 2009 alone.

Yes, it is. Wonder how much of that is tax refund (EITC) money?

The problem with tax refund money going to Mexico is that they never paid the taxes on it to start with, the children give them an advantage for Child Credit that refunds money that was never paid....from the paying taxpayers...right?

Truth is illegals that are here without their family do send nearly all the money they earn back to Mexico. Illegals that do have their family here with them are the ones that overwhelm our social services- they can’t survive on the wages they are willing to work for either so U.S. taxpayers have to subsidize them. It is lose/lose for us either way, illegals cost us far more than they contribute- the only winners are companies that save on wages and/or have substandard or dangerous working conditions and don’t want to hire citizens and comply.

Not only should we not panic, we should double it if they agree to move home.

$40 billion to prevent the Southwest U.S. from being Alta Mexico is chump change.

I somewhat agree with you. I haven’t seen any comparison recently between what the earn and what they consume in “government” benefits ( ie forced robbery from taxpayers) to support their housing, healthcare, child care (skrewels), and food.
