It doesn't really matter in the first round of voting. The goal is to keep Cornyn under 50%+1. If he goes to a run-off, he'll lose.

I could be happy with any of them vis a vis Cornyn.

Getting Cornyn into a runoff will have major “make the GOP-e pee their pants” spinoff benefits too.

I see that asserted all the time about Cornyn. Why would it be true? He'll still have establishment money, the incumbency, etc.

I'm not saying it isn't true. I really don't know anything about the Texas run-off procedure. Just wondering if there is good reason for confidence.
