Wildlife service suspends plan to allow killing of gray wolves

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has backed off plans to remove gray wolves from the endangered species list.

...

The government plan would have allowed gray wolves in the lower 48 United States to be hunted or killed.

They have been under federal protection since 1967. The Mexican gray wolf, found only in the Southwest, retains protection.

They're still taking comments about introducing the Mexican Gray Wolf in my neck of the woods (NW Arizona).

You would think that the urban statists in charge of the disastrous reintro in SE AZ would have learned something. But, no. This is about pushing their green, anti-human agenda.

I'll keep you guys posted if I hear anything new.

wolves and hydatid disease due to Echinococcosis granulosus tape worms. Two thirds of wolves examined now contain this pest. The eggs last 25 years in soil and can be inhaled in dust.
