“There is always soma, delicious soma, half a gramme for a half-holiday, a gramme for a week-end, two grammes for a trip to the gorgeous East, three for a dark eternity on the moon...”
ftom Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World

Soma, the sacred mushroom of Immortality.
Drink the flowing Soma.
I just had two beers over the course of an hour, and just finished a cup of coffee.

It is my impression doctors hand out drugs to any he she it that asks for it.
Did you know that you can now have synthetic methamphetamine PRESCRIBED?
I found the ONLY thing that could break the fever of my last flu was aspirin.
im told Its a favorite of the Klockwork Kenyan’s
is that you john belushi
the last drug I took was a pain killer for a tooth extraction
I was instructed to take a good deal of liquid with it
I did not and paid the price of some excruciating abdominal pain.
Back to aspirin if the need ever arises again...
His bodyman probably eats it first, then Barak
drinks the flowing Soma. Safer that way or so

Most minds could use a little alteration.
aspirin is my drug of choice
i have noticed lately with the wet cold weather a couple of aspirin and a hit of magnesium does wonders for that chilling bone ache
Uppers, downers, Valium, diet pills, Quaaludes, Black Mollies, it was pretty common for many females to be using something legally, the Stones wrote a song about “Mother’s Little Helpers” in 1965.
“’Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, “Mother’s Little Helper” was recorded in Los Angeles from 38 December 1965. The song deals with the sudden popularity of Valium (diazepam), a mild tranquilizer, among housewives and the ease of obtaining it from their GPs.
Kids are different today, I hear ev’ry mother say
Mother needs something today to calm her down
And though she’s not really ill, there’s a little yellow pill
She goes running for the shelter of a mother’s little helper
And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day
Toward the end of the song, the mothers are warned:
And if you take more of those
you will get an overdose
No more running for the shelter of a mother’s little helper
They just helped you on your way
through your busy dying day””
Too many doctors give them out even when people DON’T ask for them. If whatever’s wrong with you isn’t on their list of top 10 possibilities, they shove drugs at you to make you go away.
I’ve actually had to tell doctors straight up “I don’t want something to kill the pain, I want you to find what’s causing the pain and fix it!”
I remember the song but never had any relationship to the drug or its users
