Coffee and tea are “mind-altering.” So is any sugary food.

Not me. Somebody has to be sober enough to survive on their own.

I don’t know what it is like today, but in the 60s and 70s, I had the impression that doctors gave out drugs to just about any female that asked for them.

If it wasn’t for an altered mind, I wouldn’t have

You aren’t allowed to say that prescription drugs are a problem. The pharmaceutical companies will sue you.

Legal or illegal. America is quite a nation of dopeheads.

Explains a lot, from the election of Obama, to the dude at the fast-food joint who has a tattoo of a cobweb up the side of his neck.

If our enemies only knew... really, really knew, what a weak populace and a weak country we have become. We are ripe for the taking.

By definition, surviving and flourishing in the world is a mind-altering experience.

The pharm companies want to get 'em while they're young!! Drugs like Ritalin and adderal are handed out like candy -- hook 'em young = life long drug users = life long mind-numbed, obedient robots...

Lately, I have been wondering, while driving, what he he$$ is wrong with people. It seems their cognitive abilities are significantly impaired. I notice it inensely in the way they are driving. I wonder if the findings in this study are related.
