WASHINGTON – The Obama administration will phase in a requirement that large employers provide their workers with health benefits in 2015 and 2016, offering businesses more relief from the so-called employer mandate in the president’s health law.
Under regulations issued Monday, only employers with more than 100 full-time workers will be subject to fines in 2015 unless they offer coverage.
The requirement that all employers with more than 50 full-time employees provide health benefits or pay fines – which was supposed to begin in 2014 under the Affordable Care Act – will not take effect until 2016.

we all knew that the mandate will be moved past elections and he should follow suit by granting waivers for the individual mandate penalty too because you know that’ll be enacted before April 15th.
Well thank God we have elections every two years! This mandate can be delayed forever or until Obama’s out of office, whichever comes first.
Suspending a law for political reasons to influence the outcome of elections is blatantly illegal.
so at what point will there be a court case concerning equal protection?
The more they delay for some Americans and not others - the more ILLEGAL this “law” becomes.

Over the years, reading this article or that book, I wondered what it must have felt like to live in a banana republic, where laws changed almost daily on the whim of the dictator.
Now I know.
I don’t suppose Congress gives a damn that it is being made more and more irrelevant with each of these incidents.
