Chuck Allen, also know as "Trooper Chuck", has announced he is running for Washoe County Sheriff.
In a news release the Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper and member of the Nevada Air Guard said, "I have been a part of the command staff team at both the Highway Patrol division and Department of Public Safety-Director's Office for the past 10 years. This, coupled with nearly 30 years of military service, as well as serving in active leadership positions on many non-profit boards of directors, has provided me a wealth of diverse leadership and experience. I know the importance of providing accurate and timely information and how to engage the public."

P.S. Healey isn't currently going to run for anything(per him) but the radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbags have been talking to him about running for Amodei's seat.
Is he an oath keeper or not?
Don’t know but, after reading some of the comments, some folks are thinking he’s just a spokesmodel for the Nevada Humane Society and wonder why he’s “just” a trooper after that many years with the NHP. Kinda reads like some folks would much rather have the Healey endorsed candidate move up to the position. If he (the Healey choice) has the same anti-2nd/universal bkgrn chk stance as Healey, he ain’t my candidate. Washoe and Clark county sheriffs were the only two in support of the intergalactic bkgrnd chks. Radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbag pressure?
Trooper Allen is RGJ’s 2010 Citizen of the Year
You can be sure he’s a democrat if the RGJ’s supporting him.
Vetting is the most important function of the Tea Party IMO, sometimes the Tea Party is too quick, based on words.
I’m not saying the Tea Party has anything to with this candidate, just saying, we have endorsed some liars in the past.
IMO...that the Money Question.
I do know that Jack Healey is a dem. Allen, not sure. Just because he was citizen of the year isn’t an actual endorsement. When it come down to it I’m pretty sure they’ll endorse Healey’s guy. We’ll see.
