EL PASO, Texas The ongoing trial of a man accused of killing three U.S. Consulate workers and family members in Juarez is revealing the shocking depravity of one of Mexicos most violent gangs, including the charge that it had a daily murder quota calibrated to instill fear in police and the public.
Jesus Ernesto Chavez Castillo, a star witness in the murder trial of Arturo Gallegos Castrellon, told jurors in an El Paso federal courtroom how the Barrio Azteca Gang Catrellon grew from a Texas jail gang into contract killers for the notorious Juarez cartel. Thousands of murders committed by the gang over a four-year period helped Juarez earn the dubious title of "Murder Capital of the World."
Chavez testified he stopped counting the number of people he killed at 800, and said he often beheaded and dismembered victims to impress his boss. The idea was "that it would be big news," he said.

USA must have an enormous appetite for those illegal Mexican drugs for the magnitude of the violence down there.

At a body count of 800+, this guy has to be one of the more prolific assassins in history. Though he was a long way to go before he reaches the record of Vasili Blokhin, NKVD executioner extraordinare. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasili_Blokhin

None of what he’s testified to shocks me. In the least. At all.
It’s going to get worse before it gets any better.

They say he drank himself to death after surviving his work for Stalin, which included murdering 17,000 Poles and the execution of Levrentiy Beria....guess all those voices came back to haunt him and left him no peace....f***ing savage...sad thing is that there were plenty more like him though perhaps all were not quite as prolific...
It is important to remember that Los Aztecas are still a very dangerous street gang operating in both Mexico and the United States, Reed said
Nice to know....

Though Beria was shot shortly after Stalin died thus closing the circle for the jackals who succeeded him..Blokhin did the honors for what was his retirement hit...

So will this "star witness" get probation for his testimony?
