Hillsborough County's sheriff is reaching out to local African-American leaders after "unprecedented incidents of violence and disorder" that forced deputies to shut down the Florida State Fair early on Friday night.
Deputies say dozens if not hundreds of teens were involved in a "wilding" event at the fair's opening night, fighting with each other while assaulting and robbing other fairgoers. The chaos got so bad that the 200 deputies on hand could not contain it, Sheriff David Gee wrote.

This reminds me of an old story told about the Texas Rangers. A town was experiencing a riot, so the mayor wired the Texas Rangers for help. Shortly thereafter a Ranger rode into town.
"What!", the mayor cried, "they're only sending one Ranger?"
"You only have one riot," the Ranger replied.
I live in the metro area. Incident(s) happened Friday night. N-O-T-H-I-N-G in the media here about it/them until mid-afternoon yesterday, and then when stories came out, most of them led with the “14 year old killed in traffic accident” angle. Very, very strange (to me, anyway).
They like to keep these racial incidents quiet, lest the stupid people see a pattern. Not good for business. Every now and then someone dies and the media is forced to look.
Stand your Ground + Open Carry = No more wilding.
And no mention of the race of the yutes.
... its normal for the african component of the african -American. You would think that they could excel past being unbridled, uneducated africans. Some traditions will take generations to drop.... ifffffff they try!

I have the solution!
Okay, so I can’t prevent the thuggery from entering the fair (lest we be called racists), nor can we really even report there is a problem or deal with the problem heavy-handed (lest we be called racists), but there is something this Sheriff (or any sheriff with a pair) can do:
1) post a new rule: No Caucasians, Christians or Heterosexuals are allowed in the fair, unless you receive an exemption from the Sheriff’s office (You see, no one will complain about banning those types. But here’s the catch:
2) This exemption will only be granted to those that have been deputized by the office for the purpose of fair security after passing the CCW certification course. All deputized persons must attend the fair with the own personal firearm, and are allowed to bring their children with them.
3) These rules will be posted at all places where gun buy-backs take place, along with the fact that background checks will be performed on all deputy applicants.
Yup, that should do it.

The fox guarding the henhouse. Who does he [the Sheriff]think instigated the hoodlums in the first place. The taxpayers of Hillsborough County are getting shook down one more time.
I would not. Not trying to run your business, but it puts you in a no win situation. Should one of the hoodlums injure you or one of your grandchildren, you could expect no help from the law. However, should give one of the hoodlums as much as a dirty look while defending yourself and grandchildren, the full force of the law will descend upon you. A/l/a George Zimmerman. Let the people who attend and spend money to support them stop supporting them and then you will see some changes.
If it is “teenagers”, “youths”, “wilding”, or “partying” they are Blacks. If it is “hoodlums” , “rioting”, “gangfights”, “robbing”,”melees” or “stealing” it is either Whites or Mexicans.
Yeah, they’ll get right on it. /s
There’s quite a bit of money involved and revenue to be lost with the state fair. Something might actually be done about this.
