Previously she donned one-shouldered pieces from Peter Soronen and Doo-Ri Chung, and a strapless gown by Naeem Khan for the administration’s first official state dinner in 2009 for India. It’s a tasteful dress and seems to fit decently, for a change. Could have brought the neckline up a bit ... but I give it a B+.

There’s enough blue fabric in that thing to make a great boat cover if she recycles it...

A “hide my suck out the fat” scars....performed at Oprah’s place. There was absolutely no other reason to stay there without the kids and hubby. They are not friends. They’re political bootlickers.

a “voluminous skirt” is needed to cover her voluminous backside.

Well, for once she's not showing her armpits.

Why do her fitters keep thinking that her hips are her greatest asset?

A voluminous skirt is needed to cover that voluminous rear end.

Mistake. She looks better in straight dresses. The things with a belt and a full skirt look unfortunate on her. And I love Carolina Herrera.

The bottom half of it looks like something to be seen at a square dance.

I’m as far from a fan from these people as possible; however, I think she actually looks quite lovely. So often, I have cringed at her fashion choices. This dress is elegant and becoming. The shade of blue on the bodice is especially beautiful.

I’m sure the First “Lady” made the dress look extremely ugly.

I love the bodice and think it suits her. The flat-front skirt simply does not.

I agree with you. If I had places to go where such beautiful dresses would be worn, this designer’s gowns are always graceful, elegant and dignified.

It is what it is. She has the figure she has....and I think it is leaps and bounds over previous selections.
