Indeed, what is also sad or sick was the trail of ducks following him out of the press conference.

Does anyone know is there a back story of Boehner having an actual drinking problem?

There is a basis for the 'widespread speculation' ... for years. One 'background' article ...

For years, political professionals have quietly discussed Boehner's drinking. Some have told me off the record that his mannerisms remind them of that of an alcoholic. But the speculation is becoming more widespread. Earlier this year, Joe Scarborough noted of Boehner that "by 5 or 6 o'clock at night, you can see him at bars."

If he isn't an alcoholic, then he does a wonderful impersonation of Foster Brooks.

How many minutes until the left goes crazy over his singing a song from “Song of the South?”

Yup. That was my first thought.

Like I posted yesterday about how the liberals look for a word with multiple references and then go on the apology offensive, this is just asking for trouble.

Look what they did to Tony Snow when he mentioned "tar baby?"

I too was wondering if it was some sort of reference to the movie intended as an inside comment to someone, perhaps the POTUS. The Song of the South is considered such a controversial Disney film that it is unavailable for sale….ever.

I honestly don't know who would win that race for the bottom.

I find the guy only slightly less loathesome than Harry Reid.

He is pouting, like a 4 year old child. He considers the Tea Partiers as worse than Obama because he cannot control them.. What a chickenshit. If he had been running a war we would all still be under King George. What a self-humiliating coward. Why doe he not get militant rather than this passive aggressive shit? At least fight. If ;you fight you could hold your head up and say, ‘I did the best I could’. This is embarrassing. He could learn a lot from the Samaria. Disgusting.

He worked in a bar that his dad owned. Grew up around it. May not be evidence of alcoholism but it surely gives grist to conservatives that his real calling is working in a bar cleaning and wiping drinking glasses.

Remember this is what the worthless bastard thinks of us.

Whoever supports him as Speaker thinks the same.
