Have You Made Your Valentine's Day Reservations at McDonald's, Yet?

What were you planning on getting your sweetheart for Valentine's Day this year? Candy? Jewelry? Maybe a seven foot tall stuffed animal? Well, if you live in the Tampa Bay, Florida area, cancel all the plans, because now you can get your significant other what he or she REALLY wants: a romantic dinner at McDonalds!

According to The Tampa Bay Times, On Friday, February 14th, one McDonalds in Tampa will convert into a romantic, full service restaurant with waiters, LED candles, flowers on every table and the ability to make phone reservations.

The menu items will be the same as always.

Apparently, the Tampa location is not the only one where diners can experience the Valentine's makeover. A McDonalds in Southport , NC has apparently been undergoing this same holiday transformation for three years now. At that location, in addition to the romantic atmosphere, patrons are also treated to a special Valentine's Day performance by a mysterious singer which the chain will only reveal is named "Ron."

Because what better way to say "I love you'" than by treating your favorite gal to a big box of McNuggets while she's serenaded by a clown?

So make your reservations today - especially, if your goal in the relationship is to be broken up by February 15th.

Do they go there after blowing $300 on the Valentine’s abortion?

“Not everyone can afford a dinner at a nice restaurant for Valentines Day”

Thats no excuse for being suicidal. Because its suicide for a guy to take his girl to a McDonald’s to celebrate Valentines day. :-)

The girl can do that to the guy, but not the other way around.

I am not much into Mickey-D’s. The nearest one is 2 hours away. I do, however, get a twofer on Feb. 14. It is also wife’s birthday. I guess we will eat out at one of our finer restaurants.

With this Clown in office of President of our country, next year reservations at soup lines will be the New Normal.

Well, I think that is better than the soup lines in a re-education camp, but I think that is coming too.

Not everybody is rich.

Cooking up some spaghetti, making a salad, a bottle of wine, some flowers and chocolates, candlelight and music - you can do it all for twenty bucks at home if you're careful.

And it's about ten million times more classy and appropriate for Valentine's Day than freaking McDonalds.

It is a very good small business. I had been there a few times years ago since it was on the far side of the city and kind of forgot about it.

Last year my overseas head director made one of his visits over here and all of us went to GG. It all looked so good and I went with the flounder and fries. It got me hooked. Just about every other seafood place in Columbia that I have gone to has gone completely downhill.

Every time I go and pick up, I half kidding ask to please don’t change a thing. They know me as the guy who picks up double fries, triple tartar, and some flounder. Sometimes I get a gallon of sweet tea.
