MILLER: Prideful (& exempt) president refuses to admit Obamacare is a disaster
Washington Times ^ | 2/12/14 | Emily Miller

President Obama is scrambling to put Band-Aids on the health care law instead of admitting that it is DOA.

He pushed Obamacare through Congress with the promise that it would help the 30 million uninsured Americans and not hurt the rest of us. Five years later, the government intrusion has disrupted the coverage of the more than 300 million Americans who were content with their insurance, and it is already dragging down the economy.

Mr. Obama is trying to hide the problems.

That’s why the White House announced Monday it would again push back the deadline for the mandate to kick in for companies with between 50 and 100 employees to 2016, which gets the negative economic impact to hit after the election.

It is not a disaster to the LIARinChief. He new exactly that this was a piece of the economy that could bring this country to ruin. Intentionality is not a disaster for him.

And it has been reported elsewhere, that any midsized company that wants the mandate pushed back to 2016 will have to sign a document under penalty of criminal prosecution that they cannot lay off anyone because of Obamacare. This is thought and message control. If a company wants the benefits of a delay, they must support the Obamacare message, or else.

I feel for the next President who’ll have this dumped in his lap. This is an absolute catastrophe.
Actually, the LSM will love it when it crashes and burns. It’ll simply be, “it’s President Cruz’s fault.”

Companies are risk averse. They are already adapting. That’s why the job picture is as bad as it is and the economy is not recovering.

What’s he afraid of? Nancy and Harry have THEIR fingerprints ALL OVER IT!

That was “O’s” plan-from the start, so in the end and in a worst case scenario (like NOW) he can foist the blame on them!!

I am waiting for THAT moment!

Yet in years to come the left and the media will reinvent history and tout him as one of the greatest presidents America has ever had to the likes of roosevelt, lincoln and washington

And,of course, Michelle was already touted as the second coming of Jackie O.

As much as I like seeing Obamacare get ripped into for being a complete failure, I really wish more people understood that it was never meant to do what it claimed and that Obama couldn’t care less about how many people he’s hurt.

Congress should make our dirt-bag, wannabe president quit playing politics, and do his job, which is to implement the law. The cowardly left knows this garbage legislation isn’t going to work when it is fully implemented, so they put off the pain of it until after Hillary is elected.

My wife and daughter buy their insurance separately from me.

First look at” renewal” the now available plan is $200 / month higher, with the deductible going from $3000 to $11,000.

She was shocked.
