Brent Thomas Posada told police that a black man had shot him in the stomach during a scuffle, but they could not find any evidence to back up his claim and he eventually admitted the truth.
Brent Posada of Redding, Calif., told cops he was shot by a black man, but has since recanted his story. A white California man who told cops he'd been shot by a black man has confessed he made the entire story up and had actually fired the gun at himself.
Officers found Brent Thomas Posada suffering from gunshot wounds at his Redding home at 8:18 p.m. on Feb. 1.
The 34-year-old claimed a black man had approached him and pointed a gun at his head.
Posada alleged that, when he pushed the suspect's arm to the side, the gun went off. A bullet struck him in the stomach, he added.
But when police searched the area, they found no evidence to back up his claims, reports Redding.com.
Investigators analyzed Posada's clothes and found evidence that seemed to contradict his original statement.
Posada was recalled for questioning and, on Monday, reportedly admitted to intentionally shooting himself with a high-powered air rifle.
It's not clear why he deliberately wanted to injure himself.
Posada was not arrested for filing a false police report. But Shasta County District Attorney's Office will now review his case, reports KRCRTV.
I would say it is stupid but not even in the same league as hiring a lady from Montana to oversee the insurance obomadation in Colorado who is currently being charged with felony theft from a tax free corp in Montana.
I've got a big list of other stupid things from the left. Maybe we can talk about the chocolate city and it's leadership who berated President Bush. He now has many years to contemplate his criminal theft. Taking advantage of a bad situation involving his city is way beyond shameful and disgusting.
Shall I continue with other incidents? Those are just from the last couple of days.

The federal ‘justice’ department will demand prosecution for a ‘hate crime’ even there was no minority person anywhere near him.

I will say “he said this, knowing it would be fairly believable, because so very many blacks run to violence.”
And I believe that reporting a false crime should be punishable, in fact, they are. The liars just don’t usually get charged.
