I voted for him.

In spite of his often “fluid” political principles, I felt he was a man of basic integrity, a disciplined worker, and a family man.

The just released film on his campaign is very depressing, however.

My basic take away - the man did not want to run for president.

That feels like a fist in the stomach.

The most important job in the country, at a critical point in our history, and somehow the GOP found a man who lacked the passion, the political insight, and the personal conviction to run a competitive campaign against Barack Obama.

I voted for him.

Me too, not that I thought he was a winner. He had no appeal to social conservatives, the base. It was more like dumb bunnies gone wild.

I thought the 30 Year Bond would be around 15% by now.

I have completely given up trying to understand our financial system.

Everything I thought I knew about finance is useless.

Massive money printing, massive debt, massive fiscal deficits, and interest rates have barely moved.

Didn't the Chicom s get out of or stop buying our short term debt? Theres a reason economics is called the dismal science.
