String of Unexpected Events Continues

Industrial production decreased 0.3 percent in January after having risen 0.3 percent in December. In January, manufacturing output fell 0.8 percent, partly because of the severe weather that curtailed production in some regions of the country. Additionally, manufacturing production is now reported to have been lower in the fourth quarter; the index is now estimated to have advanced at an annual rate of 4.6 percent in the fourth quarter rather than 6.2 percent.

Unexpected Happens Again

Don't worry, it's the weather.

Economists did not know it was cold and snowy when they made all of those estimates.

Regardless, expect another lowering of GDP estimates as a result of today's unexpected news.

No one in EXEMPT-DC cares.

The statistics will be doctored,
and not the American sheeple.

Statistics, statistics, statistics be damned. They can’t replace the tone these colluders spin them with.

Perception and lies are everything with this Administration. Misplaced dogmatic action they execute doesn’t do a damned thing for business, the economy or the general welfare of the people in this country this President deems “too-equal”.

It won’t return to normalcy until he is vanquished from that house we used to hold dear.

Don't dismiss the impact of weather on manufacturing. We lost 11 days of productions where I work due to the weather. Along with a lot of others.

Think the point is in The Obama Economy it’s always something. Never HIS policies. No other president ever has been afforded this, not even Jimmy Carter.

I agree, my only point was the this crappy weather is something that does impact the economy, and is actually not Zero's fault. Many manufactures were shut down due to gas curtailments, something partially caused by energy policies from DC that Zero did not fix, but were started long before Zero started destroying the US.

That raises another question, how are these results then “unexpected”?

Winter will end. Then begins recovery summer #6.
Since they control the numbers, they are meaningless.

My greatest fear is Obama refusing to leave and declaring him self President for life.Don’t think that he doesn’t consider it and calculate what the reaction would be.

I think he could only do that in case of a declared national emergency and declaration of martial law.

If he did that, this government will be presented with an awful lot of non-compliance in the face of the kind of act ions they’d have to impose (gun confiscation, account freezing, even arrests, etc.)

If they can’t selectively implement those impositions, they’d even get kickback from their own entitlement leeches, especially since he’d be hard pressed to keep his drastic actions disconnected from the stock market.

It would be a very fine, thin line he’d be tippy-toeing about. If he pushes conservative America to the point of their feeling all is lost, then they have nothing else to lose. A very dangerous proposition for him in my opinion.
