So Now The Media Notices Dwayne Stovall

Dwayne Stovall is running in the Republican primary against Senator John Cornyn in Texas. Rep. Steve Stockman is also running in the primary, but he’s got issues and I hear he hasn’t even been campaigning. Stovall has been traveling around the state and has won 9 out of 9 tea party straw polls. You would think that would have gotten the attention of the media. But they barely noticed him, at least until he released this ad comparing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to a turtle, and criticizing Cornyn for doing McConnell’s bidding.

Personally, I like this ad better, but a guy’s gotta do what a guy’s gotta do

I hope Stovall wins. The primary election is March 4, so if you’re thinking of making a donation to his campaign do it soon.

Typical mainstream media tactic: give the good guy no press until they screw up. The give the (supposed) mistake 24 hour coverage.

That ad pays really well with us Texicans. Mitch does fight like a turtle, He pulls back into the shell knowing he is protected and leave the rest of us outside to be steamrolled by the RAT machine politics.

There is no such thing as bad publicity, no matter how they spin it, people will take a look at what Stovall has to say. If I were Stovall, I’d be calling up television stations asking for interviews to get in front of the “backlash”, which would further get his name out more.
