The state Attorney Generals Office is asking a Superior Court judge to remove Mack as mayor, but the hearing is not scheduled until Feb. 26. Even then, Mack could conceivably drag out the process for weeks with a court fight and appeals.

What about the party of those other corrupt mayors? Jersey City’s McCAnn etc? JC is nonpartisan mayor election but so what.

the office of the mayor is not an address, but a person. upon being sworn in, which can happen anywhere, the police are under the authority of the new mayor.
at which point, any vagrants camping on public property can be removed and/or arrested
